DOG BEACH - watch out for the crap!

So we went to the Dog Beach in Huntington on Wednesday to see how Harley would do and to have a fun time! Well she didn't like the waves...at all! But she loved the sand and the other dogs! We have been wanting to start Dog Training with her and this trip helped us realize that we need to start ASAP! She is good with us at home, but as soon as you put another person or dog in the mix it all goes out the window! She just gets too excited! We realize that she is a puppy still, but no one wants a big dog jumping and running all around them and she is only getting bigger! So we ended up having to keep her on the leash the majority of the time or she would have just gone home with another dog! We can't wait to go back after she is trained properly! Anyways here is some funny pics of Seth restraining Harley and videos of me stepping in dog crap! This video has opened my eyes to how annoying my voice is! My poor husband having to listen to me all the time! LOL!

Checking out the water

Harley was jumping all over those surfers in the background, so Seth had to pick her up! Good Times!

Harley & Seth hanging out

Seth restraining her, she has just noticed dogs coming up the beach!

More restraint! She wants to play so bad!

And last, but not least the funny video...

Happy Birthday Erin!!

Today is my sister Erin's birthday! She's getting old too! Ha Ha! ;) Anyways, she is awesome and is there whenever I need her! I had a bad allergic reaction a year and a half ago and Erin was right there to take me to the hospital and spend the whole day there with me! Thanks Erin, I know that must have been what you really wanted to do that day! :) We shared a room growing up, poor thing! I think at one point I actually made her sleep in the closet... hey, at least it was a walk in! :) Love you Erin! She is also a great Mom who comes up with the greatest things to keep her kiddos busy and happy, I hope to have the energy she does when I have kids! Thanks for being such a great sister and loving me and supporting me! I hope you have a great birthday!

Harley and her boyfriend Echo...

Whenever Sarah and I get together we try to get our babies(our puppies Harley and Echo)together too! They always play so well together! Well last week Sarah and Kip started to get their backyard done, so we had Echo over for a couple days and Harley couldn't have been happier! Us too, since she gets so worn out playing like crazy! We've been meaning to get pics of them and keep forgetting, so I got a lot this time...

I love this pic, she is so excited! Wouldn't it be funny if you greeted your friends like this?! Run at them all crazy eyed!

This is what they did most of the day...

Finally tired enough to relax a little, so cute!

Wanting to come in, aren't they cute together? They would make some funny looking puppies though, we need to get them fixed!

Having a little snack together...

Completely wiped out! We can't believe they stayed on the pillow long enough to fall asleep!

We also got Harley a little pool for the summer time heat and our neighbors gave us an enclosure to make a shady area for her, gearing up for 100 degree weather!

Playing in the water, we had to trick her into it!

Can you tell how much she loves this thing? LOL! She looks miserable here! We actually catch her in it when it is left open!

Last pic of our puppy, one of her funny sleeping positions!

My Crazy Kati!

So have you met Kati? Cause she is awesome! She moved into my ward in the fall and we became quick friends, maybe cause we are both crazy and loud... we just migrated towards each other! We are what you would call "bosom friends", anyone Anne of Green Gables fans? We have a rockin good time together whatever we are doing and don't care who looks at us like we are crazy, cause we are! LOL! She has been such a great friend to me and I appreciate her outlook on life so much! I could go on forever about how much I love her, but people already think we are lesbian lovers so I should probably stop there! ;) She is prego (with my baby! LOL!) and is going to pop anytime now, so I've had the pleasure of watching her kiddos for her dr.appt's and making her take it easy. She is a hard worker and finds it hard to sit still, I'm constantly telling her "No! Stop it! Sit down!!" It makes me crazy to think of the stuff that she is doing when I'm not there! Sit down Kati!

After I made her sit down at Ikea...

Maternity photo shoot with Kati and her girls!

Anyways I also had the pleasure of throwing her baby shower for her with our friend Sarah and we had such a fun time! She is a giver and will literally do anything, for anyone so it was so great to do this for her! Thanks for letting us Kati and for being such an awesome friend! I love you! Here are the pics from the fun night...

So I'm back from outer space!

So I've been neglecting my blog lately and I have a lot to catch up on so I've posted like crazy today! Check it out if you have the time!! :) I plan on making a book/journal out of all my posts at the end of the year so I have got to stay on top of it! So I'm back... from outer space! I need to karaoke soon!

My Dad...

My Dad is an awesome man and he just became a Senior Citizen and finished school for his teaching career! I'm so proud of him and his accomplishments! He loves his second career, he was a plumber when I was younger and did a lot to support our family and still is! He has been a wonderful teacher to me my whole life and I'm sure he is such a great example and teacher to his students. His specialty is the special needs classes and loves it! We had a big party for him this weekend to celebrate his birthday and accomplishments! We had a great time with family and friends roasting him and presenting him with our recycled presents! He is a big recycler so we made some gag gifts out of cans and water bottles, he collects rubber duckies so I couldn't resist making one for him! It was a fun day and I'm so glad to have this pool area to utilize on such a hot day! Congrats and I love you dad, thanks for all your love and support!

Welcome to the jungle!

I went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park last week for their free frontier day with Kati and her girlies and we met up with my family and checked out all the animals! It was a hot day and Kati was a trooper walking around 8 months prego with a sprained ankle! I tried to get her a wheel chair but she wouldn't let me! She felt like an attraction with all comments on the twins and being so pregnant, we should have just stayed in one place and collected tips! LOL! We saw many people from our ward and others from the area, it was a fun day! Thanks for letting us know about the deal Amber, well worth the drive and it wasn't too crowded either! I took a lot of pics for you see including a shot of my nephew Trent after he fell into a huge mud puddle, poor little guy was not too happy! I was getting pics of the aftermath by walking backwards in front of him trying to get a good shot and then I ate it! Got some shots of that too for you! LOL! I guess I was just trying to make him feel better, but then he thought I was making fun of him! :( Other than those 2 little oopsy moments the rest of the day was great! Check it out...

My Mother is better than your Mother!

That's right! She is awesome! We've had our tough times, as most teenage girls do with their moms! :) I was her super hard one and I'm glad she never gave up on me! She has always been loving, supportive and excepting of who I was even if I wasn't being the best I could be! I'm happy to say that she is one of my best friends and I can talk to her about everything and she listens and gives me good advice! She gave me the red hair and freckled skin AND made me proud of it! She has raised her children to have self confidence and the gospel in our lives and I think those things are the most important things to get through our world today! She works hard and is a great example to me about how "you can't do everything". She helps me to know my limits and understands when I need space with no guilt trips! She is truly amazing and I'm blessed to call her Mom!

Play Day at the Gray's!

Harley and I went over to the Gray's recently so I could watch the boys and Harley could play with their dogs. I'm glad I planned on taking Harley with me because when I went to get her she was gone! The gate was wide open and I freaked out because 2 nights before she had broken her tag off and we hadn't fixed it yet! She was hanging out at a neighbors house luckily, I don't know where she would have been 3 hours later (makes me sad to think about), so I'm so grateful I was planning on taking her so I found her before something horrible happened! My heart was beating like crazy and I was yelling her name and then the neighbor called over asking me if I was looking for a puppy, yep! Thank goodness, special thanks to the Grays for letting me bring her along! So we went over and it was fun and so easy! All Carson did was sleep and I watched Cars with Brendan! :) This is how having kids will be right? Don't ruin my fantasy if not, let me dream! LOL! Harley was so worn afterwards, it was awesome! Here are some pics...

Miss Savannah's Blessing...

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of being a witness of Savannah's(My cousin Josh's new baby girl, it is so convenient having them in our ward)baby blessing! It was Seth's first time being in the baby blessing circle and he thought it was cool how everyone bounced their hands in sync to keep her calm. :) She is such a beautiful baby with all her mommmy's gorgeous features, I love how much she is chubbing up! My favorite baby stage! They had a brunch right afterwards to celebrate the blessing and Jackson's 2nd birthday, I cannot believe he is 2 now! We love seeing him and talking with him, he has such a personality! Cute story: Everytime I see him he says "Hi Heather!" - which I LOVE! It sounds so cute! Anyways, the last couple months they have been coming over to swim with us at our community pool - he loves it and wants to be in the water the whole time(just like his daddy)! Well I went over to their house for something and instead of "Hi Heather", I got "Swimming!" - Isn't that great?! I laughed pretty hard, such a smart, funny little boy! Here are some pics from that day...
Can you guess who is ready for a baby? I just love how Savvy and Seth are looking at each other, it was killing me how cute it was!
