Holidays are so much more fun now that we have Mitch!! As you well know I LOVE dressing him up, so Halloween is extra fun!! ;) We have had a great time taking him to Disneyland quite a few times, pumpkin patching and showing him off in his CUTE costume! We took so many pics these last few weeks it was so hard to choose what to post so I made a slide show of all the cuteness! Enjoy...
Mitch was a Lion for Halloween and we decided to teach him to growl and have had a fun time doing it! He picked it up pretty quickly, but has to be in the right mood to display it! A whole bunch of people got quite the show while we were waiting to get pics with mickie and minnie! Here is video of him doing it(I wish he was in his costume and that the video is turned, oh well!) I was surprised he was so forthcoming with the growls here because he was tired, I think he knew it would get him to bed faster! ;)

Making Cookies!!!
I have a tradition of making Holiday cookie with some friends, we always do for Halloween and Christmas! So we got together this time at my place and had a good time! It was a little more interesting with the kiddos, but still fun and YUMMY!!

Laura, Meagan and Janitsy frosting some cookies!

Yay cookies!!!

More frosting! YUM!

This pic is so cute Jalen is giving Madisyn an innocent poke and she obviously didn't like it, which in turn makes her over protective boyfriend Mitch a little upset too! LOL!

Mitch telling Madisyn, "it's ok baby" ;)

All of them looking at the camera finally!

This is what they did while we made cookies!

Mitch trying to plant one on Madisyn! So cute!

HALLOWEEN PARTY!!
THIS POST IS FOR ADULT EYES ONLY!!!
Sorry if you are offended, but we think it is pretty dang funny!
Sorry if you are offended, but we think it is pretty dang funny!
Yay for parties where Seth and I get to make fools of ourselves!! ;) We can't get enough of them! We always get super excited for Halloween especially, we love thinking and planning up different and funny costumes! Last year Seth was Dora the Explorer and I was his sidekick Boots! I was prego last year and all year we planned on Seth being Dr.Evil(from Austin Powers) and Mitch being Mini-Me in a front pack this year... that was until Seth starting growing this....
SEXY... I know(but it does not help the Dr.Evil costumes idea!). He is growing it for "Stash-tober" a Mustache growing contest for Orange County Firemen that will benefit CHOC, so it's for a good cause.. just looks pretty dirty! LOVE YOU BABY! Anyways.. so we decided to come up with another costume that would fit the mustache and I had a epiphany!! He could be the @#*$ in a box guy from the Saturday Night Live Skit with Justin Timberlake and Andy Samborg and I could be his skank! Perfect!!! Little racy we know, but it was an ADULT party and "If doing it is wrong we don't wanna be right"! LOL, FYI that line is from the sequel to this skit, that JT won an Emmy for and that means it's classy.. right? Yeah I know, not really. Oh well, it was a hit!! I'm big on shock value! So to set this up just in case you have not seen this skit I am talking about, check it out...
:) Yeah I know you are curious! Here we are..
I think we did a pretty good job! ;)
Seth working his box!
Me and my gift!
So yeah, we were a tad over the top! And to TOP that all off we decided to have a TREAT in the box, since Seth obviously wasn't going to actually put his junk in the box! We do have a line.. it might be a little further out than most others lines, but we do have one! So I found a fun recipe on www.bakerella.com for cake pops and I made cake pop penises to give out! Yep! You read that right, CAKE POP PENISES. They turned out great, almost a tad too realistic for some! Again, sorry if you are offended... BUT I warned you! Here is how they turned out...
Yellow cake with chocolate frosting, with a vanilla candy coating! Delicious!! Just ask Todd...
LOL!!!
I packaged up all cute, so they would be slightly less offensive... did it work?
I made a TON!! :) Seth had a great time having people reach inside his box to pull out their treat! He is such a ham! LOVE IT!
It was a really fun party, thanks for hosting Matt and Kyra! I was in charge of games and I'm glad everyone had fun participating in "Rip their face off"(that one was FUN!!! Thanks Ellen, I saw it on the Ellen show! Everyone decorates their brown bag with a face and puts it over their head and they also wear oven mitts and then try to get everyone else's bags off before their own is ripped off! Last one with the bag on their head wins!), Egg swinging/cracking mess(that was kind of a bust! HA!) and Egg relay race! Here are the rest of the pics from the party, so many of them I had to make a slideshow...

Sew Fun!
Yay for SEW DAYS with my girlfriends!!! We have been doing for the last month or so and I finally brought my camera! Which was good since I finally finished a project!! I have a tad bit of ADD and intense frustration if I can't do it right.. so it took 3 sew days to get done! LOL! Hopefully my next project isn't as frustrating, I've decided that thin bias tape isn't my thing! ;) Here we are sewing it up..

Me, getting down to business! Must finish the apron!

Vanessa and Katie figuring out how to alter a pattern that was too big... my fault! Sorry Vanessa!
Watching the PRO do it!! She is AMAZING! Thanks for all your help with everything Katie! I know I speak for everyone when I say that!

The newest sew girl, she cranked out a skirt in one sew day!! So awesome!

Katie making her daughter's cute Halloween outfit from SCRATCH!! I told you she is a pro!

Me and my FINISHED apron!! YAY!

Our baby boy is 7 months!
Mitchell is 7 months today! He won't stop growing, even when he was sick he gained a pound! He is loving life and every new thing we introduce to him! Animals, cotten candy, ice cream(I wonder how he is still putting on the pounds?), Disneyland and other babies to name a few! He is still scootin around like crazy, he gets around really fast that way and hasn't even realized he could be even faster on his knees! We are thankful for that, because we still need to purchase some gates! He usually scoots himself into a place he cannot get out of on his own and then screams until we free him! Pretty funny.. usually! He sits on his own now and gets stuck like that, except today he has finally figured out that he can get out of it by falling forward and rolling and has been doing it all day! Oh well, it was nice for a couple weeks! ;) He randomly waves hi and we are working on teaching him high fiving and some signs from his Baby Einstein signing dvd, he loves that and the Nick Jr(formerly Noggin) tv station. He had his first ear infection this last month and he was such a good boy through that and the yeast infection the anti-biotics gave him, so sad! He is our little tough guy! He is still napping like a champ, but still wakes up once at night! He is finally doing regular 6 hour stretches through the night though! His personality has really come out and he definitely has his moods! He is starting to throw minor tantrums where he puts his face in his hands on the floor and cries and then looks up to see if you are watching. We just try to ignore him, so it doesn't get worse. TRY is the key word in that sentence, we think it is so adorable that it is really hard to not watch and laugh! He is also starting to be shy, he will turn his head away from people and snuggle into us. He has become such a Daddy's boy this last month! He has always loved Daddy, but now he actually looks around for him and calls for him! It's sad when Seth is at work and he does this, luckily he loves Mommy too!! This next month we are really going to baby proof EVERYTHING!! He can now open the fireplace doors and we can't just leave him to play on the floor anymore to use the restroom or run upstairs like we used to. Can't think of anthing else right now, except that we just love our active little guy SO MUCH and we are so thankful for his spirit in our home! On to the adorable pics!!
RRROOOAAARR!! This is his Halloween costume, I wanted his 7 month photos in it!
Super Mitch! I also took some of him in the cape that I made him awhile ago, since he is sitting now! I LOVE how they turned out!!!
Getting him dressed for the day, his little serious face!
Yelling at me, this pic kills me it is too cute!
Mitch and his girlfriend Madisyn, who is trying to get away from his grasp! ;)
So cute in his footy pj's! This is his newest favorite toy! It is actually a dog toy we got at a fair, it makes a ton of noise and we knew he would love it! LOL!!
Getting stuck under the coffee table, peek-a-boo!
This is what he does while Mommy and Daddy are on the computer!
Kicking back at Disneyland
We have found that Mitch has an aversion to mustaches! He is scared of his Pops'(Grandpa Andres) handle bar mustache! LOL! Whenever he sees him, his eyes lock onto it with this look of "What the.." So freakin funny! Seth friend at the LA fair has one too and when Mitch saw him he started crying! So sad!

LA COUNTY FAIR!
We had a really fun day at the LA County Fair a week ago! We got in free and got free parking! NICE! Seth works with the LA Fair's Geode Man(He is a Fire Captain for his other job) and he hooked us up! He even got us a SWEET Geode(Pics below)!! We had a full day of fun and Mitch luckily did really well napping there, we are training him for naps on the go for Disneyland and a cruise we are going on with the Bills family in January(YAYA!!)! We did a lot of petting animals, Mitch LOVED it! He and Daddy were having a great time and I'm sad cause I only got video and it is still on the camera. Oh well maybe later, take my word for it - it was really cute! We ended up staying till 10pm and of course got some Funnel Cake on CRACK(at least it seemed like it), it was A-MAZ-ING!!!! Here are the pics...
Mitch, ready to go!

Gary the "Geode Man" educating Seth on the Geodes

Our geode! Super sweet! So pretty and cool to learn about!

Mitch and Daddy having a good time!

Seth was making him dance! :) Love it!

They had an awesome Dinosaur exhibit so we had to get a pic with T-Rex! They didn't have a Pterodactyl, :(.

This is a Angliasauras(sp?) Seth's favorite dinosaur as a kid, he did a report on it! So cute!

This is me and the BEST funnel cake EVER!!!!! It had soft serve ice cream and fresh strawberries on it! The bomb diggity!! We totally grubbed on it!!!
