Playgroup trip to Pump It Up!

I'm planning 1 extra activity per month this year for playgroup and for January we went to Pump It Up! Mitch loved it and I got a pretty good workout helping him experience it better! :) We both left exhausted!!

Playgroup always give me at least 3 hours of free time!! Love it!!

San Diego Zoo

We met up with our friends the Johnson's(Seth used to work with Adam at San Pasquel Fire and we've stayed in touch with their awesome family since he left there) a the San Diego Zoo, it was a perfect day there!! We figured out we can ride the Skyfari buckets for free, we wish we would have known that earlier!! We got to watch the lion get a little vocal(cool video below) and see a peacock really strut his stuff! The peacocks rome free there and we even fed some at lunch, they love tortilla chips!! So awesome! I got a lot of photos and had a hard time leaving any out so here you go...

Mommy and Mitch Time!

Mitch and I took advantage of a nice day and went to Disneyland all by ourselves for a little Mommy and Mitch time! It was so fun and I will cherish the that time we had together! It was the day he turned 22 months too, he is getting so big and is really getting a hang of Disneyland and what to expect there! It's not as crazy as it once was, he much better at standing in line and loves most of the rides... it's official now, he does not like Matterhorn. I tried again with him in the daylight and he was not happy about it and I think it gave him night terrors for a few days! :( Sorry Bud!! Luckily I made up for it with all the fun, less scary rides we did after! Here are the photos from our time together...

I'm so glad when Daddy comes home!

Mitch gets so happy when Daddy come home from work! Seth works 24 hour shifts, so he always gets home in the morning. Mitch can sometimes hear the garage door open and will run to it or wait for Daddy to come in to surprise him! SO CUTE! They usually have a good time wrestling and playing afterwards too. I got out the camera for one of their reunions for memory sake, check it out...

When Goose Attacks!

We got together with Seth's family for his Mom's birthday this last weekend and took a trip to this lake in Fullerton to take a walk and not feed the ducks. We really did feed them, but you're not supposed to cause they don't want the ducks to get fat... hmmmm. They actually had a sign with a photo of a duck with "FAT" written underneath it!! It was hilarious! Well we now have another reason why you shouldn't feed the ducks and the one crazy goose that dwells there! They attacked us and followed us around the whole time!! It's like they NEVER get fed or something! ;) Seriously tho, that goose was crazy and I was videotaping when it attacked me! I just wish I had gotten better coverage of it, cause it really pecked me good on the back of the leg when I ran away! It's like it smells fear! Seth's mom who is a vegetarian said "I want to cook that goose!" LOL! The video is at the bottom of this post for your viewing pleasure! We also got some cute photos before we realized how crazy the goose was too...

1st time on Matterhorn!!

Mitch is a big boy and with that comes some early advantages... Including being able to go on the Matterhorn before he is 2!! We(especially Seth) were so excited to take him on it! They just have to be 35" tall and he is, so we did it!! ;) Lucky boy...?? You judge by the photos...

He looks so scared!! Maybe his first time shouldn't have been at night? We are horrible parents! But honestly, we did think it was hilarious!! He was clinging onto Seth so tight and didn't cry at all and when it was over he actually started laughing! So I think it was successful! Our tough little man! ;) We met up with Uncle Tyler and soon to be Aunt Lindsay and we did this ride and a few more too, so fun to be able to meet up and not have to spend the whole day there! I love having passes!! This is all of us on Pirates...

My Little Bro Is Engaged!

On Christmas Eve while we were watching "It's a Wonderful Life" I got a phone call from my little brother Tyler, it was about 10:30 at night so I was a little freaked out! I immediatly asked "What's going on?" and he then told me that he had asked his girlfriend Lindsay to marry him!! AND she said YES!! :) I was really not at all expecting it, which made it even better! I'm sure for her too, cause he completely suprised her too! Good man! We had hung out for hours earlier in the day with our family and I was so impressed that he was able to keep that from bursting out of him! Only my parents and her parents knew beforehand. I'm so happy for them and I'm really glad he has found someone so awesome and vice versa! They are perfect for each other and I really like how laid back she is, Tyler really is himself around her and it is so nice! I have really known she was the one for awhile, but I was surprised that he asked kinda out of nowhere! Really happy surprised tho! So he decided that it would be nice for their families to meet... ummmm, you sure??? ;) Just saying that is a brave thing to do so fast, especially with our crazy huge family!! But yep, he was sure and he planned it for New Years day at Lindsay's parents home... even BRAVER!! So with a warning on Facebook to the family to be on our best behavior we headed out to meet them! Well within about 10 minutes of getting there Mitch managed to put his hand into a few lit candles and then tore a huge gaping hole into a lacy door panel drape! SERIOUSLY?!! I couldn't believe it!! Great way to make an impression! And not only that, we also had to change like 4 diapers while we were there for 3 hours cause he was having the runs from the antibitotics he is on! We strapped him into the high chair my sister brought for my niece(since I forgot Mitch's) for the rest of the evening and they were more than nice about it thankfully! I am currently working on replacing the door panels he ruined too, cause I'm not a bitch! Oh did I forget to say how my father called me a bitch in front of everyone while we were playing Catch Phrase? Yep, he did!! He was just joking of course! I had the Catch Phrase thing and the word was "Perfectionist", so the first thing I said was "Me" and then my Dad said "Oh Bitch!" The evening was pretty much done at that point and my Dad felt awful! I know he didn't mean it and was just being funny and it is funny.. I just wish it hadn't happened in front of poor Lindsay's family who doesn't know us very well yet! I will say that at least her dad laughed pretty hard and actually said "I like that" after it happened! LOL! At least we're entertaining?? So after all that Tyler said we passed and didn't scare them too much and she is still wearing the ring... so that is a good sign! Her family was super nice and friendly as I was expecting and I'm just so happy that she will be part of our big, crazy and very LOUD family! I snapped some photos while we were there...

Happy New Year!!

We brought in the 2011 with our friends again this year and we had such a fun time! Vanessa and Josh hosted again and we played games, ate and hung out till the countdown. We showed the guys how to play Bunco, which was hilarious! They really got into it for us, which made it so much fun! We also played Chatham Jeapordy with questions about the 2010, which I really sucked at! The Fergusons totally took that one!! And we played Ping Pong, so much fun! Around the world is another game I'm not very good at, but it was hilarious trying! I have a feeling that 2011 is going to be an awesome year and I'm really loking forward to what it has in store for us! Hope it brings you what you're hoping for!
