I like to move it, move it!

My baby! That's right I am feeling my baby move! It has been over a week now, I actually felt it the first time on Saturday the 20th(our 15th week mark)! I wasn't to sure about it at first and I didn't want to officially announce if I wasn't sure! It is crazy and I thought it would feel so different, but it is really just little nudges and almost gassy feelings! I feel it more at night and in the mornings when I'm waking up and my bladder is full! I have felt it occasionally during the day when I'm just sitting around watching tv and I always mute the tv like I will hear it better or something! LOL! I just helps me concentrate more on it and discern if it is actually the baby or gas! :) I'm 16 weeks now and it's been exciting watching my belly grow bigger and the veins taking over! I read the 16 week part of a pregnancy book I have and it warned me to no longer sleep on my back! I thought "no problem", since I enjoy sleeping on my sides too! Well I didn't sleep to well last night! I kept waking up on my back freaking out that I was cutting off the blood to the baby! I finally got up to put my body pillow behind me so I couldn't roll over all the way! Harder task then I thought I guess! Anyways that is it for now, just wanted to officially announce "the movement"!
Almost forgot about this! My mom found this comic and thought of me! So true! :)

I'm back!

I've been vacant for awhile due to computer issues that we are still working out! I've been having to use Seth's computer and because I'm without my laptop STILL! It is going on a month now and I am having major withdrawals! It is so much nicer to blog and watch tv at the same time! I am a total multi-tasker! Anyways his wireless keyboard has been having issues these last couple weeks.. I would get on to blog and start to check out other blogs be able to leave a few comments and then it would just start being random with what letters it would type out! At first I thought it was a user error and that I needed sleep or something but then it got worse and WORSE! It would literally take me 20 minutes to leave a comment! So annoying! So I finally got annoyed enough to pull out an old dinosaur keyboard, which took me 20 minutes to clean off, so gross! But now I'm actually able to type normal again! YAY!So sorry to those who think I've been ignoring you, I haven't! I'm actually up to date on reading all the blogs just not leaving comments! I will try to catch up in the next few days! :) For now here are my posts on what has been going on with me lately...

YW Personal Progress Journal time!

Need to do a couple value experiences so here I go! Feel free to add your opinions!

I'm finishing up Individual Worth #3 and need to journal about what I've learned. This involves building up others and making them feel of worth. We had a lesson on this and then put together an activity to help the young women get this started a few weeks ago and it was nice to be able to be involved with! The challenge is to for 2 weeks notice the worthwhile qualities and attributes of others and acknowledge it! This is one of my favorite things to do, so this one was a pretty easy one for me! I love how you can make someone's day by complementing them, it helps make your day too! I love appreciating friendships and making new ones as much as possible! I truly think that the worth of souls is great in the sight of God and helping others to feel of worth is a great quality to posess! I know this builds confidence because I have seen it in myself and others and they do so! I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to freshen this up and to be of example and to help our young women to learn this as well! Try it, it works!

Now I am going to do Divine Nature #1, these are the divine qualities of a Daughter of God...

*To love, nurture and serve their families
*To be humble, submissive and gentle
*To be diligent in keeping the commandments
*To be kind, charitable and to do good works
*To gain knowledge
*To have virtue and patience
*To have a relationship with God

I have to say that these are all things I need to work on! I am definitely not perfect in any of these areas. I'm excited to be doing my personal progress because it is helping me get there and helps to remind me how I should be! I hope to be good at ALL of these someday soon and know that I might stumble a little on the way, which is why I am so grateful for the gift of repentence! I love this gospel.

Adios Summer!

We have never been to Oak Glen and I decided to surprise Seth and take him there, it is totally his kind of place! There are a ton of farm animals to check out and pet and he is all about it! I've been looking forward to Fall and apple picking there and cannot wait to take a few trips back this season! We went on a week day when there wasn't a lot going on but it was still a good time, it was hot but luckily there is tons of shade! I love caramel apples - the green kind and totally indulged there and bought some to indulge at home too! YUMMY!!!! I cannot wait for the trees to be changing colors and to go back and do some apple picking! I love this season, ADIOS SUMMER! Here is a slide show from our fun day...

Janitsy and Jalen's Shower!

My dear friend Janitsy had her baby Jalen back in June, 7 weeks early! It was the day before our original baby shower date for her! Luckily that date wasn't good for anyone else either! LOL! Luckily he was a healthy little guy even though he only weighed 3 lbs 11 oz, I think that is right! He stayed at the hospital for 3 weeks until he was big enough to come home and now he is so big! We were finally able to get the baby shower done for them this week and it was great to be able to see and hold him and hang out with Janitsy! Here are some pics from the fun night!

Janitsy & Jalen and Niki & Mckynlee, these two are betrothed! :) Jalen was actually due after Mckynlee, but I guess he wanted to be older than his little girlfriend! :)

Jalen and Tori getting to know each other, he was born before her too now that I think about it! He is definitely going to be a ladies man!

Me and Kyra, preggers united! It's fun being knocked up with other friends!

Amy and Laura catching up!

Kim the baby whisperer with Mckynlee

Meagan, Melissa and Tori who is scared for some reason...

Me and little Jalen, he is so adorable! He was sitting there staring at me and Kyra enjoying the ambiance!

Jalen and Mommy! She is so good with him! We are all so excited for their little family and thankful that everything turned out so good! We love you guys!

De plane, de plane!

We visited Seth's parents last weekend for lunch and to share baby pics and video with them! They were excited to see their little grandbaby literally grow before their eyes in the 3 ultrasound videos we have! So fun to share that! Then we went to the Fullerton Airport for the plane show they were having! It was neat because Seth's company (OCFA - Orange County Fire Authority) has a fire station there with some helicopters! We were able to check it all out and it was a great afternoon!

This is Seth and his parents and one of OCFA's helicopters! His parents are so proud of Seth and his career choice! They are supportive and interested in it all and it is fun watching them at this fair as Seth was showing them stuff, just beaming!

On a side note... our carpet is back to normal! Yay! Thanks Josh! Now I can laugh about my nasty incident! :) On an even happier note I talked to a nurse yesterday about the glucose test and how I didn't do so well keeping in down. She talked to my doctor and they are giving me a pass for now! Double YAY! So no more nasty orange drink this month! We'll see what happens with that later! :) That's all I got for now, off to make banana bread to shove in my face!

If life gives you oranges...

Don't do what I did! So just a disclaimer for those of you with a weak stomach, this may not be the post for you! I must also say that sometimes I am not very smart.. okay, NOW I can get to my post!

So today I decided would be the day that I would take care of my Glucose Test(AKA - The devil's drink!)where you drink this nasty orange crap and then go to the lab an hour later for a blood test! No biggy, right? Nope! I was so wrong! I took a pic of the actual full bottle before drinking because I wanted to complain about it on here, I just didn't realize it would be to this degree! I should have known to due to the problems I had with keeping it down previously when I wasn't pregnant!( I did keep it down those times, but it was REALLY hard!) But no I thought I could handle it! HA!!! So I ate a little lunch (since fasting wasn't necessary this time around), waited an hour and got positioned at our computer upstairs to be distracted with surfing the net while I sucked it down... good plan in theory, so I thought! Hindsight is 20/20 and bright orange though...

Yep! You are seeing it right... be glad it is not a closer look! Quickly after sucking it down it came right back up! It wasn't even down 30 seconds! I tried to keep it down, cover my mouth and run but as you can see I didn't get very far! I made it about 15 feet before it went squirting everywhere! I was so mad at myself for not having a bowl or at least a bag with me! WHAT WAS I THINKING!? And as I sit here I see 2 things in this room that I could have spewed into and it wouldn't have been as bad, but obviously my mind doesn't work that fast! So for the next hour and a half I got to clean up this lovely mess! (I couldn't even have done it when Seth was home either, he would have totally cleaned it for me out of pity! That's a good husband by the way!) So I got most of it up and now it looks like this...

Thank you Magic Eraser, it totally got the splatter marks on the walls. But as you can see the carpet is definitely stained... why does that crap have to be neon orange?! Luckily I am related to an awesome Chem-dry guy who will hopefully be able to get the rest out for us! Now I still have to do the test or try to I guess I should say, so Seth and I plan on going to the lab tomorrow to do it there! Then if I have another situation like this it will be on their turf and I can walk away! Sorry if this has been too disgusting for any of you, but I warned you! And to those of you who got a good laugh, you are welcome! I will one day laugh at this too, probably when my carpet is clean! Now in the meantime you can help me feel better by posting your most disgusting mess story! Take a picture of the stain it left(if it is still there)for me and post away! You are all tagged!!!!!

3 months! Into the 2nd Trimester Safely!

We cannot believe how much time seems to be flying by! We are now safely into the 2nd trimester and we are so thankful for the odds to be so much better for this little baby will be healthy and in our arms soon enough! These are the ultrasounds pics and video from the last month, it has been fun watching he or she get so big! About the size of a peach now, moving up in the fruit group! :)

These are the 10 week and 6 day ultrasound pics...

As you can see in the lower right hand side of the pic the baby is right on track - yay!

Some 3D of our little peanut, we thought this pic was so cute! Looks like he or she is rubbing its eyes!

The baby's heart beat! Still strong and a little fast at 194 bpm, we joke that it will have ADD like Mommy!!

Here are some 13 week pics...

Crazy how a couple weeks makes such a big difference! Our baby is getting bigger and looks like a cute baby now! Here is he or she stretching it seems!

This is the heartbeat and you can see that it has gone down a little to 171 bpm and is within the perimeters! So maybe we we won't have as hyper as a kid as we were thinking originally! LOL! Only time will tell!

This has got to be one of the creepiest pics yet! It's supposed to be a cute Bye-Bye pic cause this was our last appt at our in-vitro office(we are so sad to leave them, they are awesome!), but this pic makes our baby look satanic! So creepy! Seth said it looks like it will chew its way out! GREAT... bring on the crazy pregnancy nightmares!! Those should be fun experiences for me!

Okay, are you ready for the onslaught of videos?! I wish I could have had it all in one cause it wasn't really that long, but our camera has only been doing 30 second recordings lately! Time for a new camera! Enjoy...

These 2 show the Doctor trying to figure out the sex, she could not determine... what do you think? We don't find out till right before Halloween, so take your best guess at our poll on the sidebar!

So this is my 3 month shot...

As you can see the belly is getting bigger! :) I love it! It makes it so much more real!

This last month has been great! Except for a few spewing episodes I have been feeling really good most of the time! I'm so glad I am able to enjoy and do things while being pregnant! My poor mom and sisters were not the same way and I can't imagine feeling like crap 24/7! I really only had 2 really bad weeks early August and then I really didn't have an appetite for anything for a few more weeks, so I would force myself to eat! Now my appetite is back and I am ravenous every 3 hours! :) I'm so glad! It will be interesting to see how much weight I put on, so far nothing. Seth says I'm trading weight with the baby. I've been having crazy dreams lately! I had one about the baby and our cat, who cloned itself? Then it kept coming in our birthing room and I was getting pretty mad! I usually have dreams about something that was in my day or something I thought about, nothing that makes sense though! For example: Our friends the McDowells blessed their baby in church a week and a half ago and before I went to bed the night before I was preparing to wake up to get there on time(Our ward starts at 8:30 and it has been hard for me lately, I've been extra tired)! So I tried to get as prepared as possible so I could make it! So hence.. my dream was about me and Niki McDowell in our bishop's office together and she was telling the Bishop that she has been catching her husband Clint smoking in the middle of the night! Which is so ridiculous and funny, but I remember feeling extremely uncomfortable - it is crazy how vivid these dreams are! Sorry to post that Niki, I've been meaning to tell you about it but I keep forgetting(another pregnancy trait I think)! Anyways just an example of my crazy dreams, Clint does not smoke and he is the Bishop's faithful clerk who blessed his baby girl beautifully the next day!! :) Love you guys! We have been officially released from our In-vitro office to Kaiser for the rest of the pregnancy! I was kinda scared, but we met with an awesome mid-wife last week and she made me feel a lot better! I have to do a nasty insulin orange fizzy syrup test this week to check my levels since I am Hypoglycemic(one of the things that caused my infertility) and they are worried about me getting Gestational Diabetes. I have been on Metformin for over a year now and they hope that by keeping me on it for the entire pregnancy it will help me to keep the Diabetes away! I hope so! Time will tell. So that is about it for now! Sorry this is the longest post EVER, but as you can tell we are excited and it is still setting in for us! :)

Happy Anniversary Baby!

I love me some September! Mostly cause that is when I met Seth, 10 Labor Days ago! And then we got married 4 years after that and THEN we got sealed together forever 4 years after that! So I really love September! It has proven to be a good month for us and our love! Yesterday was our 6th Anniversary! Seems like it was yesterday somedays, I love Seth SO MUCH and time life seems to be flying by with him! I scanned in some of my favorite wedding photos to share in this slide show, enjoy...

So being that it has been 6 years and that we haven't done anything too big in the last few years to celebrate it AND this is our last year without kiddos.. we wanted to really have a good time and do something fun! I was trying to find something awesome, to go out of town or get a couples massage or something! BUT, everything is so freaking expensive! So Instead of having one expensive hour of relaxation we opted to surprise each other with some stuff we love! I planned dinner at Benihana's(MMMMMMMMMMM! SO good!), they sang us a nice song and took our picture! :) And then a night in a Marriot(got a great price, gotta research people!), so we could wake up and go to the LA County Fair! Now to be honest this isn't my favorite thing, but I know that Seth LOVES it and he missed out on the OC and San Diego Fairs! So I tried to surprise him with it, but he guessed friday night! :( Oh well, I still had another surprise up my sleeve! So after the fair it was Seth's turn to surprise me, we drove to Brea and he took me to the Improv there to have dinner and see my favorite comedian Jay Mohr! I was so excite! He is so funny! It was a great evening! The next day, Sunday the 7th (our actual anniversary) we went to church! I love going to church with my husband, so great to sit next to him and feel the spirit so strong! We then went to my final surprise for Seth! :) A Dinali Family Festival in Santa Ana, it is an Indian festival with Bollywood dancing - which Seth LOVES! He was really surprised and we had a great afternoon being "culturized"! Happy Anniversary my love, I can't imagine going through life with anyone else!

Here are some pics from the rest of our weekend celebration...

Another pic of us at Benihana's

At the LA Fair! Baby goats, just born within the hour! Aren't they adorable?! Wouldn't it be crazy if our babies could walk that fast! Scary!

Big Momma and baby pigs! I'm afraid this might be me in March! LOL!

Seth rubbing another pig, it was huge! Seth really loves the fair for the petting zoo stuff! :)

Us and the Indian Festival!

Some of the beautiful dancers!

My Indian Henna Hand tattoo!

Seth made me try some of the dancing, lets just say I dance like a white/black girl and Indian dancing might not be my forte! :)
