So I've done 30 posts in the last 2 days, all chronologically dated! I'm officially caught up and now the New Year can start without me feeling completely guilty!! I will never, EVER be that behind again! So I'm definitely ready to be a published author(yeah right!) and cannot wait to get these last 3 years of blogging printed up for us to have as a journal of our family! I'm so thankful that I started this and I'm looking forward to all the many events sure to come this next year to blog about!
Love, Heather
P.S. I've also revamped this here blog, tell me whatcha think!

Christmas with the Andres
After our Christmas morning together we took off for Grandma and Grandpa's Andres in Fullerton for the rest of the day! It was nice to be able to put Mitch down for his nap there and have a yummy Christmas dinner together. Seth's Mom made an excellent pot roast and she is a vegetarian! We had fun giving and recieving each others gifts and once Mitch woke up he got into the action too! He got spoiled a bit more and then decorated a Trader Joe Gingerbread Man, so cute how into it and serious he was about it! Then we played games while Mitch ran around, chased the cat, adored the fire in the fireplace, gave love to everyone he came across and snuggled in the blankets to watch a movie.. he was in heaven! It was a wonderful day and we ended it checking out some awesome Christmas lights in Fullerton, where I got some good ideas for next year! My crafty heart is excited!! Here are the photos from Grandma & Grandpa Andres'...

Christmas Morning AKA Mitch Getting Spoiled!
Mitch is just so perfect for us, we love him so much!!! He really makes Christmas so much more special for us! Christmas morning he woke up at 8, early for him actually! I guess he was excited! Our room shares a wall with his room and he was knocking on it, basically saying "Come on come get me, I know something sweet is happening today!" :) We had such a fun morning experiencing the wonder and excitement of it all through him! We are blessed!
Mitch's Santa gift a Cleaning Trolley! I was so excited for him to get this, I knew he would love it!!!
And the tent too!
Coming down the stairs and peeking at the goodies! :) So cute!!
Him seeing his Santa gifts!
Taking a loop around to check it all out!!
realizing it has a broom and dustpan just his size!! He totally started using it! LOVE IT!
Checking out the vacuum
Getting into his stocking
Playing with the Cleaning Trolley, we were luring him over to the tree...
Oh poor spoiled boy, we're sorry to pull you away from that awesome gift! But you have more presents to open!! Note to self: One gift is fine next year! LOL!!
We totally had to strap him into his high chair, it's like we were torturing him with presents!
Still not happy.. ok maybe the Leap Frog DVD's weren't the best thing to open next! LOL!!
Yay, Mommy got the Kitchen torch and Creme Brulee set she wanted! Good job Santa!!
Oh that's better, Mitch was all about this tool set!
Daddy and his own personal blender for his protein shakes!
Grandma Sarah's gift to Mitch, a little doggy that walks around, sits and barks! He is kissing it here! :)
What's in there?? Some coloring books for church and quiet time!
And the last big gift... A Toy Story play set! He was totally checking it out, love how serious he is about it! ;)
It took awhile but we freed all the toy story figurines for him!
This is video of him playing with his stocking stuff! We are trying to teach him that not everything with motors say "Toot Toot", just trains! At the end you can hear him doing the other motor sound! :)
A Very Merry Christmas Indeed!!

Our Little Christmas Eve Together
It was so nice to have the evening alone as our little family! I made Potato Cheese Soup(YUM!!) and we relaxed and watched Christmas shows together! We had received a package that day and opened it up to find a gift for Mitchell from our dear friends the Gilberts that he loved the instant he saw it, so cute! It is a remote control fire engine perfect for Mitch's age, he totally had to fight Daddy to play with it and now says "Mine, mine mine!!" Thanks Daddy, that is the best Christmas gift ever! LOL! Funny tho, I've only heard him say it to Daddy since! ;) They loved playing with that and we might just let him open a toy on Christmas Eve next year cause it was so fun! We got cookies and carrots ready for Santa and the reindeer and then we opened up our Christmas Eve gifts, PJ's of course! And then we showed Mitch the tree and his ornaments and had fun taking photos with each other and then we put Mitch to bed! And then we did it!!! LOL! JK!! Sorry I couldn't resist! We really didn't, I promise! We actually watched "It's a Wonderful Life", which I had never seen before(I know crazy huh?) and enjoyed our peppermint hot chocolates! It was a perfect AND WONDERFUL Christmas Eve!! Our fun pics...
