We got together with some friends for dinner and karaoke at Las palmas last week and we had a fun time! I actually was surprised by an old high school friend of mine Jason Sandefur! I wouldn't usually put his name here cause it wouldn't really matter to anyone, but a few of blog buddies know him too! So I was singing with my friend Kati and he came and sat right next to my hubby, I recognized him immediately and then I second guessed myself during the rest of the song. So I went back to my table after the song and said "Jason?", and it WAS him! It was good to see him, the last time I saw him was at my wedding! He got married a year after us to the girl he was with for awhile - does anyone know her name? I know that I should, at least she hugged me like I should! So it would be great if one of you knew...I think she went to high school with us and asked about my sister Erin...so let me know if you know! :) Anyways the reason I ask is because they live right down the street from us! Isn't that crazy?! Such a small world! So we're going to go out with them soon and it would be great if I didn't have to ask her name! So we had a great time and ended the night by TPing the Kyra and Matt's house! :) They were going to meet us and didn't so it seemed only appropriate! LOL! Kati and I went over with 4 rolls and we were almost done when we heard their front door open... they were looking for their cat! They saw the toilet paper and my car running and started yelling "Heather!", I was caught! They ran for my car and took off in it! They eventually came back and Matt told us that since we were caught that we had to clean it up and we wouldn't get my keys till it was done! LOL! Yeah right! We were in their house when Sarah pulled up, we had let her know what we were doing and she came to meet us but we had already been caught! Matt was really serious about us cleaning up the TP, but then I found his keys (all 4 sets)! So Kyra convinced him to give the kays back or pried them from his hand...either way it worked and we were able to go home! Good Times! Here are some of the pics...isn't this candle slideshow cheesy?! I love it!

Your pedestal is falling down...
I love the song Pedestal by Fergie and thought the phrase above would be perfect for this post. I added it to my page for you to listen to, it is pretty catchy and perfect for dealing with any "haters"! :)
I have been attacked by several people (by e-mail, hater style) in regards to the photos with the duckling and chicks from my business website. I really just want to forwarn any of you who I did the photos for to block anonymous comments. It seems that people who like to attack others are a bit cowardly and do not want their names out there...I wonder why? Could it be that they are mean, judgmental people? I won't honor them by even writing what has been written to me here, I'll just say that they are quick to judge! Luckily I don't care what they think, but I do care about what you all think of me! I just wanted to let you all know that the duckling and chicks are still alive and were not hurt in anyway while posing or playing with any children! I did not dye the duckling, I purchased him like that and green (even though I love the color)would not have been my first choice, his regular color would have been great! They will not be tossed out on the street or killed, they will have a good home and that's all I got to say! I hope I have not offended any of you with this and your loving comments are more than welcome! As for the haters...
"You think you got me figured out, never met me have no clue what I'm about! Maybe I got things you wish you had, you need to stop the hate and get a pen and a pad! I work around the clock, so fill your mouth up with a sock!...Who are you and what do you do? To make you think you're above me, but have you walked in my shoes? The pedestal, you put yourself on...well since I'm breaking it down now it's gonna collapse and be gone, gone, gone... Your pedestal is falling down, falling down falling down. Your pedestal is falling down, da da da da da da da da da da!"

The Color of Duct Tape...
So I did it! I went sky diving on Thursday and it was crazy! I went with brother Tyler for his birthday and it was a blast, especially being able to do it with him! We arrived there for our 30 minute training, which was really 30 minutes of signing paperwork that says they will not and can not be liable if anything goes wrong...hmmmm...Tyler and I started to really feel nervous then I think! And then our instructors came and got us! They suited us up, gave us a quick one-two that lasted 30 seconds(I'm not joking), not 30 minutes and said "all right, let's go!" That's when we looked at each other with the "oh crap" faces! Both of our instructors were British with the funny accents(Anyone watching the Bachelor this season?) It was like Sky Diving with the Bachelor, except my guy was a comedian with a very dry sense of humor! We asked them if they keep track of how many jumps they've done and he looked at me seriously and said "Yes, I've jumped 5 times." Well that is when I realized I would just have to sit back and relax, kinda hard when you're jumping out of a plane though! I asked him what color the parachute was so our family could look out for us and he said "The color of Duct Tape", he was just loving making me flustered! So we get on the plane with about 20 other people and it takes off and starts climbing, about half of the people jumped out at 5,000 feet - crazy people - and then it starting climbing again making the plane slant like crazy! I asked my guy why I'm not attached to a parachute yet since I am literally sliding towards the door! He said it wasn't time yet...yeah I know that, yet I'm still sliding towards the door! Seth wasn't able to come watch since he was working, before we took off Tyler asked me if he was upset that he couldn't be there, I said no he wanted me to have a good time with you, he just wants to see pictures! I'm telling you this so you can appreciate what came next... My instructor told me at about 10,000 feet to stand up, so I did. Then he said sit down on his lap... so I did and then I looked over at Tyler trying not to laugh and Tyler said "How would Seth feel now?" Then I laughed out loud and THEN Tyler's instructor told him to stand up and sit on his lap and I laughed even harder! This is how they attach you to them and the parachute, makes you feel really uncomfortable and safe at time! I asked my instructor what I'm suppose to do when we land and he told me he'll tell me after the chute opens so that way if it doesn't open he isn't wasting his breath! So the plane climbed to 12,500 feet which is where we jump at and we were the last ones to go. Watching all those people jump before for us started to really freak me out, I had to stop watching! Tyler decided he wanted to go last so I went right before him, he said the look on my face was priceless - like I was going to die - I wish I had a picture to show you of that! The air was freakin cold, it really surprised me! It was so awesome and really crazy to be falling out of a plane like that! It took us about 50 seconds to fall 7,500 feet he did spins and crazy stuff and then he deployed the chute at 5,000 feet which did a number on my lumps and hump! I literally screamed "OUCH!" He asked me did you just say ouch? I thought no you idiot I just SCREAMED ouch! LOL! He adjusted us so I was more comfortable and then explained how to land and then Tyler and his guy came floating by faster than us and landed and then we did it! We landed on our feet and as soon as he unhooked me, which took 1 second(Tyler and I thought that it was scary how easy that it was to unhook us!) I fell to the ground, I have never loved the ground so much! :) So that was a short version of it, sorry it is so long!! I attached a video of us taking off and a slideshow of pictures for you to enjoy! It was another crazy experience with Tyler that I will cherish forever, "I don't want to be here anymore guys" - inside joke from a previous crazy experience! I would totally do this again though, I'm trying to convince Seth to do it! Who's up for it? :)

I'm Irish and proud of it!
First off Happy St.Patricks Day, I love being Irish! Especially being a red-haired, green-eyed Irish girl or should I say lass... that is probably more appropriate for this post! :) Most people don't know this but most redheads are scottish, which I am as well! Most Irish (and Scottish) folks tend to have a fiery temper, so I was doomed from the start! Most people close to me have seen it (if you haven't seen that side of me I hope you never do! But I do reserve it for the ones I love, whether it be by protecting them or abusing them! You know it's from love though - right? LOL!) Anyways, my sister e-mailed me some info on our family today and I just wanted to post it since I plan to create a journal out of all my posts at the end of the year! I loved this info so thanks Amber - my Irish, Scottish, English, Dutch and Danish(I was not aware of that one)sister! Here is what she shared...
I was on the phone with Grandma McArthur(Shirley) today asking about ancestry and I wondered what Scotch-Irish meant and what the proper application of that term would be. She wondered too so I looked it up while we were on the phone and read her portions. I really enjoyed learning about it. I still don't know if we actually are Scotch-Irish in the official sense. I know that we are Scotch and Irish but to be actually Scotch-Irish we would need to have an ancestor that did a "double migration" from Scotland to Ireland and then again to America.
According to Grandma our heritage through Mac(Norman) and Shirley is:
Ray Seldon Ames (Shirley's Dad) - Scotch and Irish
Naomi Loretta June Preston (Shirley's Mom) - Irish and English
Allworth - last name (Naomi's parents) Irish - who traveled with the handcart companies to the Western US.
Hans Perry McArthur (Norman's Dad) - Scotch and Danish
Murphy - last name (Norman's Mom) - Irish - Shirley said that you can't get more Irish than Murphy!
I just love this info, thanks again Amber! I plan to name my daughter Nyomi Rae(when she comes, no I'm not prego I'm just calling dibs now - just so we're all aware! No screwing over the girl with the fertility issues, that's not playing fair! Don't make me pull out my irish fiery temper on you! LOL!), it is a combo of my great, great grandparents names on my Grandma Shirley's side. I know they are not spelled exactly the same, but they are pronounced the same - just easier to read and little more girly! So here starts the compiling of my ancestry, I hope you have enjoyed it!
This following photo has been my header for the last 17 days and is one of my fave's! I posed for it over in Leisure World where my Grandma & Grandpa Mac live, it is in front of a home down the street from them. I just couldn't resist the awesome decorations! Today we celebrate the wee irish in us - Say that with an irish accent! :)

Irish Fun!
We had fun taking pictures of my niece and nephews last month and I waited as long as I could to put them up! So here they are! So cute! I'm sad St.Patricks Day and Easter are so close together this year, not enough time to enjoy both I think! My buzz from all the green beer will still be lingering when it's time to hunt for eggs! LOL! Just kidding, I don't drink...green beer! :) I also uploaded a picture of my irish grandparents, The McArthurs - I get my irishness from them! I love how they look a little drunk in this picture, they are such hams! They were actually drinking cactus cooler, LOVE IT!

Karaoke Night! La la laa......
We had girls night last night doing some Karaoke - my favorite! Although our blog nights come in at a very close 2nd! We went to Pechanga, it was hilarious at first there was just a ton of old people there - like a field trip from a retirement community or something! Then they left and it really got started! We got our shirley temples and cherry cokes (they are on the house there) and sang our hearts out! Good Times! Check out the fun pictures and video...
Me and the old folks!
Me, Meagan & Kati
Kati & Me
Amy & Serena
These videos are hilarious! I just love my girlfriend Kati and her performing ability, she is so fun! We didn't get any of me, maybe next time! As you can see occasionally in these videos there is this Asian guy(with gold teeth - so hot!LOL!) that loves to come up and dance with us while we sing! Pretty funny! He constantly asks us all to dance with him and we politely decline! Enjoy...
This video is Kati performing "Hit me baby one more time"

Puppy-Poopy Update...
So I know you all are wondering how is Seth and Heather's puppy Harley? Well she is pooping...a lot and it hasn't been solid! So my mom asked if we had checked her for worms... I immediatly ran to my lap top and looked up the signs! Poop not solid...check! Pot belly after eating...check! Hiccuping alot...check! So I have been completely grossed out for the last few days, checking her bum(only looking, no poking or prodding!) for other signs until we could take her to a discounted clinic! Seth and I are firm believers in that an dog or cat or whatever pet it is, is an animal and should not have better health care than us! We will not pay tons of $$$$$$$$$$ to do over what is necessary, especially since we are poor and got her for FREE! So I took her to get her 1st set of shots and to turn in her poop to get tested for worms on Monday. Well they need fresh poop, within 4 hours of it being dropped - just FYI! So after getting her shots done I kicked it outside with her for a half hour hoping she would drop one, so I wouldn't have to come back the next day - but it was a no go! :( So yesterday as soon as she dropped one Seth and I rushed it to the place stat! Of course this one was more solid than the previous 6 days worth of poop, luckily for us!
There you go Mom! She challenged me to take and post a picture of this, Happy very early Mothers Day! LOL! Anyways we got it there and they asked us what kind of test we wanted to do - they either keep it there and check for worms with their eyes or send out to do an extensive test for all parasites...guess which one was more expensive and didn't need to have fresh, dropped dooky within 4 hours? Yep that's right, the one that we picked, I was so annoyed that they didn't tell me that yesterday we could have used that other crap! I do not want bugs or worms anywhere near me so we did the extensive, more expensive one for $34 (the other one was $20). We got the results this morning... she is parasite free! Yay! But now I'm sad we wasted $34! Oh well, peace of mind I guess! They think she is just getting used to her new food and they suggested bringing her in for a check up (for $35) if we are still worried... but you know what? We're good, she is a dog - a very cute dog, but still a dog! So I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse(literally) of my puppy's crap!
Here is some cuter(cause it's not crap) and more recent photos of her...
Me and Harley at the Santa Rosa Plateau, we didn't realize dogs were not allowed there so I had to hide her in my sweater. You don't even notice her do you? Everyone we walked by said "Oh! Cute Puppy!"...we were not very successful in hiding her!

Seth bathing her poopy butt! She loves to poop and then walk in it, ahhh! Disgusting!
This is Harley trying to get me to pick her up! She is doing really well with training she knows now what "Quiet!" means and does it pretty quickly. She no longer barks and crys all night and now goes into her crate & bed area in garage without a fuss! Our persistance is paying off! She is currently learning "Down" and "No bite", she is getting there!
Her new dog tag, cute huh? Seth said it is too big for her, but luckily she is going to get bigger! :) We love our little Poopy, I mean Puppy!

I LOVE to spoon...
Last I hung out with some friends and all their husbands, my hubby was working! :( Luckily it wasn't awkward, I just pretended that all of their husbands were my husband...see not awkward at all! AND I got to make out all night! :) LOL! I am just kidding! So we wanted to play some games and even though we were all about spin the bottle we decided to spoon instead! I LOVE Spoons! The funnest(I know that is not a word, but I like it)game ever! So here are some pictures and videos from the crazy game, we only had a few injuries!

Getting started, look how serious everyone is! We had a pretty competitive group!
Who's out? I guess it was Kyra! Sorry Kyra for this picture, but I just couldn't resist - it was too funny!
The losers so far... :)
I'm still in! That never happens, I'm usually one of the first ones out!
And then there was 2! Oh it is on like Donkey Kong!
Matt Won! Congrats Matt, I'll get you next time gadget, next time!!
Here is a crazy video a la Kati, I just love it when Greg turns around wondering what is going on! Enjoy...
