This last month has been so fun with our little man! He gets funnier and SMARTER every day!! He seems to understand more and more what we are saying to him and tries to answer us/talk to us and most of the time it is just gibberish, but sometimes what he says back makes sense! It always surprises us and we're sure it's just a fluke, but it is so stinkin cute and fun! He is running everywhere now and still so excited about being able to get around on his own that he still has his hands straight out in front of him like a hyper frankenstein! At church a few weeks ago he was running back and forth in the back of the chapel squealing and laughing in pure excitement so loudly that I had to take him out! So hard cause he is just having fun, not throwing a fit or crying but still very much disrupting the whole meeting! He is a month away from being in nursery without mommy in tow!! We are so excited, ok maybe mommy is the only one that excited!! ;) But seriously, I'm so excited to be able to go to Relief Society Mitch free! Mommy loves you very much Mitch.. but really needs that time for her sanity! He is picking up things really fast now and can now get up on the couch and off all by himself! He plays hard to get when we go get him from his crib.. he will be standing and as soon as he sees us he lies down really fast or when we ask him to come he runs away.. until we say "OK BYE BYE" and start walking away. Then he freaks out and comes running! He points to things he wants now, which is so much nicer than trying to figure out on our own! When he toots or craps his pants now he looks down at his diaper and then at us like "ok people time to change me", so funny! He saw me coming with a diaper and wipes last night and actually laid down for his changing before I got there! LOVE it! He runs fast to hug us and anyone else he thinks needs one.. mostly strangers which is pretty funny and slightly frightening. Got teach him about stranger danger! We just started teaching him about time out, which means we stick him in the space between a chair and our sofa in the family room and say "time out"! And it is helping us to not lose it on him and hopefully him to learn to listen to us! We can only hope he gets it sooner than later! We had our last restaurant dining experience with him for awhile a week ago, he was RIDICULOUS and it just isn't worth it for us anymore! :( Just isn't fun to wrangle a toddler during an entire meal, not relaxing AT ALL!! So unless we get a baby-sitter it is at home or quick dining experiences for us! On a more fun note.. he is really starting to dance and it is so cute!! He also said "Daddy" really clearly the other day when Seth was here, he usually says "dada". It was so cute and Seth was so happy! He is getting bigger and bigger everyday! We just took him to the dr cause he has Roseola right now, he had a temp of 103.5 for 3 days and then it broke and a rash developed all over his body. Luckily he has been a trooper and was/is eating, sleeping and playing as usual since he came down with it. Since we were at the DR we were able to get his stats: He is 30 lbs still, but is now 34 inches! So he is still 95th% for his weight and went up to 97th%(from 95th%) for his height! Still a big kid, but slowly starting to thin out?? LOL! Slowly is the key word! A friends little girl asked me the other day if Mitch is big.. I told her "No honey, he's HUGE!" :) Love my huge baby! Here are the pics of him from this last month...
Being a beast!
Back to sweet!

Our mini Drew Carey!
Getting ready to fight off Daddy! I love his defensive stance and somewhat worried look here!
Out on a lunch date with his girlfriend Madisyn! They were giggling and having so much fun together, he just adores her!
Both of them fell asleep on the drive back home, so cute!
Having fun with his fun Ikea felt food and cooking set! :)
I love him in just a diaper, so cute!
We thought this was so funny! He climbed up on the couch to watch tv all by himself, he realized is is much comfier I guess! LOL! It cracked us up!
Closer up! Such a raggamuffin here, the rash from the Roseola starting up on his face!
This video shows how he is learning how to move forward on his toys, before he would only go backwards!
