Crazy Fun Day and Note To Readers!

Over a week ago I took a little road trip with my girls Meagan and Laura! It was Meagan's b-day so she was quite the trooper to get up so early in the morning to take the trip with me! She thought I was playing a mean joke on her, but I was not! :) I had an early morning dr.appt in Torrance and I thought since I was paying the gas to get out there, why not make it fun and have them come with and then we could all go see our good friend Janitsy who lives just a few miles away from my appt place? After my appt we set off to find IHOP for breakfast! I think we have figured out that I need to be the navigator(In the sexiest voice possible!LOL!) and Meagan or Laura need to be the drivers! Because after an hour(no joke, with directions mind you) of searching for IHOP which was only supposed to be 2 miles away, we finally found it! It helped to use the correct directions and map! We were laughing so hard at our predicament! Them not letting me look at directions because they didn't want to die(so maybe I'm not the best driver when I'm distracted) and me saying we already drove down this street 3 times and there is no IHOP, totally lost! We were really driving past Janitsy's home all those times because that was directions they were looking at! GOOD TIMES! It truly was, even though we were pretty freakin hungry by the time we found it! We eventually got the food and ourselves over to see Janitsy! It was great to be able to spend time with her and see pics of her new baby Jalen River Anderson - he is such a cutie, I attached a few for you to see below! He was born 6 weeks early, so he is still in the hospital. He is doing really good and they are able to see him daily until he gets to come home, hopefully really soon! It was a great little trip, made more fun by having my girls along! :) Thanks for coming along Meagan and Laura!

NOTE TO READER: I know I am being pretty vague in some areas here on my blog lately, so I just want to address it by saying I am okay! Just going through some some stuff that I don't want to advertise about too much just yet. Which is hard cause I really do want to share(hello it's me!), but I know it will only make it harder for me. Good Read!

So I have had some downtime lately and I've been taking advantage by reading a book a day! So exciting, I love reading! I don't do it often enough because I really don't get much else accomplished while I am doing so! I am definitely not a person who can read a chapter a night, that is like torture to me! :) Anyways, I got some great reads from friends and had to tell you about one in particular! My friend Amy loaned me her copy of "Marley and Me" and it was so GREAT! It is about a haphazard dog and his owners. I am a dog lover with and have a pretty new puppy(Harley) and this book just hit the spot! I laughed really hard and cried harder, I couldn't get enough of it! It makes me want to pen my own book about my crazy dog! Anyways, just wanted to recommend to you all if you haven't read it yet, you don't have to be a dog lover to enjoy it(but it sure helps)! I totally want to do a book club night on it and also a movie is coming out based on it, this one would be a good girl night movie I think! :) Thanks to Amy for it and everything else you have done and are still doing for me, you are a great friend! Bowling with the Fam

This post has taken me awhile! We got together for my family birthdays and Father's day celebration weeks ago, my brother Brian was down from Idaho for his birthday. We went bowling at the Trevi Fountain place here in Lake Elsinore, that place is pretty funny! We had a little problem getting in, we waited for an hour and a half for a few lanes and they kept telling us "10 more minutes", "15 more minutes"! We finally spoke to a manager and he said it would be even longer so we decided to do dinner first since we were all hungry by then! He said when we got back that he would pay for our 1st round of bowling! Score! So we had a good dinner at Coco's and then went back and they set us up in one of the bowling rooms! We had a great time, my family is pretty crazy and we love it when we can all get together!

Welcome Miss Tori Lyn Bruer!

I've been so excited for this little girl and she is finally here! YAY! My dear friend Kati finally popped her out! Poor thing went to the hospital twice before this final time and has been through weeks of contractions now! She is a trooper! We have been joking that I've been experiencing her pregnancy (along with all the pains...don't ask, I'm going through a lot! LOL!) along with her, probably cause I just won't leave her alone! So of course I went to see her and Tori ASAP today and she is so worth the wait! So freakin cute! I love that she already has some rolls going on, that is the best! AND she has quite the little voice on her, I love it! She was giving little growls and snarls when she was upset, then she would just belt it out - it was so cute! I've had the pleasure of watching her older sisters while they've been at the hospital so far, so I got to take them to meet her and it was so cool! They have not stop asking about her since and cannot wait to see her again tomorrow(me too!)! So I took a lot of pics and here are a few...

Happy Daddy Day!

Happy Father's Day everyone! I couldn't let this day go by without recognizing my wonderful Dad! He is the greatest! He has always been a hands on dad and supported all my wants and needs while growing up! Even when I wasn't the greatest daughter he still loved and supported me. And when Seth asked for my hand in marriage my Dad gladly welcomed him to the family, I'm glad he saw what a great man Seth is and what a great father he will one day be as well! I have always been able to talk to him and appreciate his love and advice that is given when I need it! Thanks Dad, for being so awesome!

So it might just be that I'm going through a lot and am a pretty emotional "Hot Mess" lately, but I miss my husband soooooooo much right now! He has only been gone 2 days working, but he went up north with a strike/back up crew to help out with the fires up there on Thursday night. He was so excited to go, he has been waiting for an opportunity like this! But this means he could be gone 5 days to 2 weeks and we have no clue what to expect! So I think I am just anticipating the worse, I don't know how people send their loved ones to Iraq - I could never live through that! Anyways I know the paycheck will be worth it, but I am pretty sad at the moment! So on the brighter side of life... we did something kinda funny the other day and thought I would share...

Have you heard of Ear Candles? They help to bring all the wax out of your inner ears without the damage of Q-tips! I am a Q-tip lover, every day like clock work I ravage my poor ears - it feels to good not to! My doctor has told me that I shouldn't, but I can't help it! Anyways Seth and I were at this all natural store and they had them... so I asked Seth if he would be interested in trying it (Cause like any man he has trouble hearing his sweet wife! LOL! But really a doctor has told him one of his ears is pretty "compacted") And to my surprise he was totally all about it! Probably cause it involved FIRE! Oh yeah, that is how I'm going to present anything I want from now on, with a side of fire! :) So we got the supplies and gave it a go! I took a pic for you to see what it involves and how close the fire gets to your head! Anyways, I will leave out the other kinda gross details, but he said he felt like he noticed a change and that it wasn't bad at all! So I want to try it now! Hoped you enjoyed my random-ness! It has helped cheer me up a little! :)

So excite!

So Seth and I discovered something the other day! We heard barking and yelping coming from the garage and went running out there and found Harley with her head sticking through the cat door! We were so excited! I know that sounds mean, but it means that she can't fit through it any longer! So now we can leave it open for our kitty, so she isn't locked in or out of the garage any longer! We obviously discovered this by accident, we really only left it open if the dog was inside with us, but we had forgotten to close it this time! We had been waiting for this because the cats food is kept in the garage and the dog loves to eat it and anything else she can find! So now we can officially leave it open all the time! YAY! The greatest thing about this is what you see below...

This is what she does whenever she hears us in the garage cause she can still get her head through! LOL! It is the best when we are driving in and she hears the garage door open and BOOP, there's her head all happy to see us! :)
