Mitch and his girls!

I love to get together with my friends and their babies to see Mitch interact with them! These babies are growing up FAST!! Brooke and Madisyn are 4 months younger than Mitch and such cuties! They are more interactive with Mitch now, pretty soon they will be pushing him away instead of just rolling away! ;) I would be one proud Mama if he ended up with one of these little girls, especially since we would have the cutest slideshow at their wedding!! I'm always glad I remember my camera for these sweet little moments! Check it out...

Brooke about to yell "HELP ME!" :) So tiny next to the Mitchellin Man!

She still looks a little worried here, probably because he kept going for her eye!

With their proud Mommies!

This pic kills me, I love how Madisyn is holding onto Mitch's hand! :) Can you tell he is ready for a nap?!

Kickin it with his home girl!

Yep, nap time!! How cute is this pic?!!!!

And some videos of them together...

Coming for Brooke and posing for her!

Making Madisyn cry

Couldn't help myself I had to make these of them and I couldn't pick which one was cuter so you get 2!! Enjoy!

Thankful!

First off I am thankful for my friend Traci who let me know that my blog posts have been all jacked up! If you know me you know how meticulous I am about stuff like this and when she let me know that my captions never add up with my photos I honestly got a little stressed out!! WHAT?!! I spend so much time trying to make my posts perfect for everyone's viewing pleasure and they aren't?!! She explained that it sometimes takes her 20 minutes to match up the right caption to the right photo! OH NO!! Thank you Traci for cluing me in! So this is my attempt at making it better... let me know if it worked or not...

THANKFUL

Sushi and Sewing!

What a great combo, Sushi with friends and then "Sew till we drop" night with the girls! We hadn't had Sushi in quite awhile, so we REALLY enjoyed! We met up with our good friends Kevin, Laura and Madisyn and had a great time! Afterwards I went to Sarah's for a sewing party and was able to actually start and FINISH a project! AMAZING for me! :) Sure it took me till 1am, but it got done! Sarah and I were the last ones up, thanks Sarah for letting me stay so late! Looking forward to the next one!! Here are pics from the fun evening...

Mitch is 8 Months Old!

Mitch is 8 months old today and he has become quite the handful lately! When at home he is now pretty cranky and clingy(at least this last week or so) due to teething! Still hasn't cut a tooth yet, I'm torn on how I feel about it.. since I am still nursing him. In public he does a good job of being his normal cute and sweet self, but when it is just me and him he lets loose! He nows shakes his head back and forth and up and down when he is throwing a fit(how do they learn how to do this?). It is still kinda cute and sad enough for me to let him have his way most of the time, but I occasionally reach points where I just have to walk away to not lose it!! Crying teething baby = NO FUN! Seth always says "just let him cry"... easier said than done, especially when windows are open and the neighbors are probably thinking I am beating him! He is 23 lbs now and likes to be held costantly and will dive for things when being held, it is quite the upper body workout to keep from dropping him! He is now saying Dada and is now getting Mama down, super sweet! He usually says Dada when happy and Mama when upset... what the? I still love it though! He had his first allergic reaction(nothing like what happens to his cousins)to eggs, his little lip swelled up so fast! See pic below, luckily Benadryl did the trick quickly! I had scrambled an egg for him to eat, I read later that he should only have egg yolk.. oops! Good to know! He can now pick up food by himself(like those little gerber puffs) and put them in his mouth, which is GREAT!! He is on the move so much now that we finally bought a playyard/cage thingy to keep him in a certain area when playing, also VERY GREAT! He loves it when we surprise or scare him, I know great parents right? We are just creating a tough little man! ;) Even though he has been going through a rough patch we still love him so much and LOVE that he is ours!! Check out the pics of our growing boy...

Mitch's 8 month pics!

His chubby thighs are ridiculous! LOVE them!

He is into everything now at tends to get trapped into things! He was enjoying this one!

This is Mitch in Daddy's old high chair, in great shape for being almost 32 years old!

Seth in it way back when!

Mitch grubbing on bananas, so gross and not too fun to clean up! I prefer feeding him a little more neatly!

Mitch in his brand new cage! Enjoying the "freedom" to scoot around where we want him too! ;)

Knawing on the lifesaving teether!

Mitch loves DADA!

I was trying to wait on this till Mitch's 8 month post coming up here pretty quick, but I couldn't!!! Mitch is officially saying DADA, meaning Daddy aka Seth! It is the cutest thing! At first he would just say it jabbering, but he is now linking it with his Daddy! I just LOVE it!! I'm not even bummed that he said Dada before Mama, with Seth as his Daddy I kinda expected it cause he is that awesome of a Dad! :) When Seth is gone and Mitch wakes up he looks around for him saying Da Da(he does it with a cute break in between the syllables), like he is calling for him!! Melts my heart!!! Seth was home the other morning when Mitch woke up from his first nap, so we went to go get him together(we do that a lot cause it is the greatest thing as parents) and as soon as he saw Daddy he got so excited and started saying DA DA!! So we know it is official and now we are working on Mama! To mark this really cute milestone I took some pics of Mitch and his Daddy at a park playing...

Don't those make you want to say DADA too?
