Disneyland with our buddies

We were able to hit up Disneyland(seriously LOVE having our passes!!!) with our buddies the Wootens and the Andersons! We had so much fun! AND a moment of hysterics when we thought we lost Mitch. :/ THAT WAS NOT FUN! He had gone into a play tube at Goofy's house, where we were at in Toon Town. Seth asked me where Mitch was and I couldn't see him.. than Seth said he thinks he sees him outside the area, so I booked it to go grab him. Except it's not him, so then I start running all over searching everywhere and freaking out(pretty much ruining everyone's photos as I run around with no regard to people taking cute photos!)! An eternity later(which was only like 5 minutes really) I run back to see if anyone has found him and they had, in that dumb playtube! So SCARY! I hated that feeling and I never want to feel it again! But, other than that... we had a good time! :) Here are the photos from the day...
On Pirate Island(formerly known as Tom Sawyers Island) the kids loved it!!

Sweet Madisyn!

The boys having fun with all the piraty stuff! ;)

Mitch's 2 Year Update!

This little man is growing up SO FAST! My baby is now a little boy and I feel like I just blinked and it happened! He makes us so happy and then crazy.. moment to moment, but mostly happy though! ;) I've figured out how to read him pretty well and anticipate the craziness and try to avoid as much as possible! Daddy on the other hand has not figured that out! LOL! He is learning though! We are definitely getting use of our parenting skills and I have to say that I think we're doing really good. We respect each other and the decisions we make for him and also give each other the down/away time to relax, which I think is crucial to being good parents! Allows us to be way more patient with him! :) At his 2 year appointment he was deemed "stubborn" by his pediatricion, no surprise to us! He refused to interact with her at all and it was pretty embarrassing, its ok though... we got back at him when we approved him to get the shot he needed! YEP, payback is a you-know-what! :)He came in at 33 lbs(75th-90th% for his age) and 3 feet tall(90th-95th), the Dr said he will grow to be over 6 feet tall! Just like Daddy! So he is healthy and we're so glad! He is talking more and more every day! Here is a list of what he is saying...

"Uuuuuhhhhh!!" That means I want that! Give it to me now, with some sort of expletive I'm sure! :) At least that what it sounds like to me, I'm not a fan of that one!
"Gabba Gabba" For Yo Gabba Gabba
"Boos Coos" For Blue's Clues
"Bubba" AKA Bubble for Bubbles or Bubble Guppies(one of his new favorite shows)
Hmmmm maybe he watches too much TV??? At least it's Nick Jr, so he is basically at Preschool! You know "It's like Preschool on TV"! LOL! Ok, onto other stuff he says...
"Bayoon" AKA Balloon
"Momma" For Me and EVERYONE ELSE OR THING IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! Seriously he calls everthing Momma! Can you tell I love it? He shouts it when he's excited and screams it when he is upset AND also screams it when he runs to give other people hugs....???? :/ Oh well.
"Dadda/Daddy" very rare, but always just for his dad. Yay Dad.
"Peasssssse" Please, with a huge emphasis on the S, super cute!
"Dank" Thank You, another rare one but he is learning!
"Baby" Anytime he sees a baby he says it, adorable!
"Duck" self explanatory, also known as "Quack quack"
"Toot toot" as in Choo choo train
"Hep me" Help Me a newer one and it is hilarious!
"There it is" I think we must say this a lot to him!
"Uh huh" Yes, he is starting to say yes too but mostly says Uh huh/
"Uh Uh" No, has never actually said no! Just shakes his head with the Uh uh!
"god" Notice it isn't capitalized, cause he means DOG! That one cracks us up!
"Car" self explanatory
"Ball" self explanatory
"Buzz Lightyear" yep! He actually says it pretty well suprisingly!
"Wow" whenever I say it, he repeats me! ;)
"Sarry" Sorry, only when I say it(Which I do a lot) does he repeat it. Never when he should actually be sorry!
"Woa" Uses it very appropriately!
"Uh Oh" So cute, we hear that one a lot as he tries to do things on his own more and more!
"Uhn, two" He is starting to count! :)
"Juicccccce" he LOVES Capri Suns and this is what he calls them with an over emphasis on the s sound! We bribe him with these cause he loves so much, he sucks them down in under a minute!
"Gulk" Milk, so weird!
"Watta" Water :)
I think that is it... he has said more, but I can't think of it right now or he hasn't said it clear enough for me to understand what he is saying yet! ;) He does the cutest thing of carrying on a jibber jabber conversation with adults(if he has time to warm up to them), they can ask him questions and it sounds like he is answering and then asking them something back and it can go on for quite a bit back and forth like that! So freaking adorable and funny! He likes to try to jump, which makes him look like Stuart from Mad TV... "Look what I can do!"! LOVE!!! He loves to go to the park and scare Mommy by climbing up the big kid stuff now! :( Not my favorite! He is starting to eat a little better and try more things, which is so nice!! He is still an awesome sleeper, with occasional nightmares(I think from being traumatized on the Matterhorn! So sad!)! He folds his arms and closes his eyes for prayers and I open my eyes now to watch him cause it is ADORABLE!!! He is starting to try a sing more too, so exciting! When I sing to him at night he always jibber jabbers along with me! That's all I can think of right now! But we are so happy he is ours and growing so well, he is such a sweet handsome boy! And here is some more proof...

How dang cute is this???!!! He was SO GOOD! He did everything the photographer asked, I couldn't believe it!!

This little suit was the best after Christmas sale item ever!! I love it!

My Mom gave me this idea for his 2 year shots, since he will be gone for 2 years on a mission one day! Hopefully that takes awhile to get here! I love how they turned out and look forward to using them at for his mission stuff! :)

Mitch at a friends party in January with a Capri Sun bribe! I wanted him to get his face painted, as you can see it worked!! ;)

Our family all together there

Not sure what was happening here, but I think this pic is so cute and funny!

A couple kids fell asleep in nursery and he decided he wanted to pretend to be sleeping too, it was cracking us up!

Eating on his own now, so nice!! He is really neat about it too, which Mommy loves!!

Playing around in Daddy's shoes

Watching tv with his "baby" cabbage patch kid we got from my great aunt!

I heard him crying this morning and it sounded so sad and hurt, so I ran in to see what was wrong...

LOL! I don't know how but he got his chubby leg up and over the rail and then stuck between it and the wall!

He wasn't amused by the fact that I went and got the camera to take pics before releasing him! ;) We have since moved his crib away from the wall so it's not so close. Not sure when we'll move him to a toddler bed!

These last pics are him playing with some of the toys he got for his birthday, he has been in HEAVEN with all the new fun stuff! We haven't even busted out everything yet! Spoiled little boy!

Mitch's Family Birthday Party

While preparing for Mitch's Yo Gabba Gabba(He loves Yo Gabba Gabba, so we went with that theme for his 2 parties) parties, Seth asked me if we had 4 kids would I do this for every kid... I told him maybe not so grand a scale, but yes definitely!! ;) I just can't help myself and it is so worth it to see Mitch's face light up when he recognizes the things I've made and that it was for him! So fun! We ended doing 2 seperate parties, one with his buddies and their families and another for our families. Each was perfect and allowed us to see and talk to everyone, so hard when everyone comes to one! So this is the post on our family party for him! Our families are awesome and Mitch has so much fun with his cousins! I LOVE seeing him interact with his baby cousin Trevor! He is so sweet and gentle with him, it kills me!! Him and Kayla play so well together and he wants to be just like his older boy cousins!! He is totally a little boy now! Happy and sad at the same time!! He is lucky to have 2 wonderful sets of grandparents that live so close and he has such a special relationship with each of them! It is so cute to see him greet them, he always runs up literally screaming with joy for hugs! LOL! We had a great time celebrating Mitch and his ability to grow so fast! ;) Check it out...
Oh, but first a cute photo of Mitch!! I did these on my own and this is the only one that came out! BUT it is my favorite! I love how into prayer he is! It is so dang cute!!! More professional photos to come later, just took him to JCPenney and he was so good! YAY!!

Mitch and his Grandpas! They both weren't able to be at his 1st birthday party, so they were so excited to celebrate with him this year!

Diving into his first piece! It was hilarious how fast he was shoving those fondant balls in his mouth!

Going for a 2nd piece that was left on the table! ;) Guess he liked it!

All ready for bed, but on a crazy sugar high... I wonder why?? LOL! I love this little boy so much!!!

It's a party, It's a party for Mitchell!

So yeah, I had too much fun planning this party! I made everything but the bouncer and I enjoyed it! Mitch is worth it! :) DJ Evan was a HIT and was so helpful with Mitch and all the kids! He really made the games fun for the kids, which made it all super successful! I told him he really needs to invest in a clown costume and learn how to do balloon animals and face paint cause he could make good money! ;) Let me know if you're interested in Evan for one of your parties, I can hook you up!! Basically the party turned out really good and made Mitch feel like a special big boy that he is AND we got an awesome nap out of him! SO WORTH IT!! ;) Enjoy the photos...
Mitch's boom box cake! The rainbow chip frosting under the fondant made it bumpy!
