Our 1st Sonogram Pics!

So here it is... Our baby! It is so small! Its nutritional sac is bigger than it! It is between the 2 little + signs and the sac is to the left of it! Isn't it the cutest?! LOL! Well hopefully it will be! :)

This pic show its little heartbeat! You can see it along the bottom of the pic! It is so crazy that you can hear and see this so early! We were totally amazed and it just made it so much more real for us! We are so excite!

One-derful News!

Well we had our first sonogram today and it was so awesome to see our little, tiny baby on that screen! We were ready for anything (as long as there was a baby)and were elated to find out that there is just 1 baby! 3 of you were correct! We can totally handle that and now it seems easy! Right?! LOL! Just wait, I know! The baby looks like a little bean right now and is the size of a tic tac! So crazy! We were excited before, but after seeing it and hearing the heart beat we are ecstatic! He or she is as healthy as can be, measuring perfectly and hopefully that is a good sign of things to come! We got some pics to take home and I will post as soon as I get them scanned, I finally ordered a scanner cause I can't live without one for the next 8 months! :) Seth was so cute with the whole thing as we were waiting I said a quick prayer for everything to be okay and he had started to say something to me so I finished up and told him I was praying. He said "oh good", I told him he could say one too and he said he already did! :) I love my husband and his faithfulness! What a great example my baby will have! Then as we were going over the sonogram photos he asked "Now there isn't any way there could be another one right? Cause I would feel better knowing that now!" So funny! We really couldn't ask for more right now, we feel extremely blessed! I found a little "bun in the oven" calendar and had to do it of course! It looks a little creepy right now, but hopefully will grow out of it! I never announced our due date... it is March 14th!

To follow up my last post...I'm feeling a 50% better now, I actually went to Urgent Care on Saturday night cause I was running a temperature and really feeling awful! Of course my temperature was down when we got there! They said it was a cold(just like we thought) and to take Sudafed and a Anti-Histamine (By the way that is exactly what my friend Amy recommended 3 days earlier! I'm crazy and I could have been feeling better on Thursday! My wish is Amy's command now, she can do me no wrong!) So I've been drugged up and sleeping so much better! Thanks for all your support!

It hurts when I swallow...

I remember as a kid saying this to my Mom and she would say "Well don't swallow!" No joke, then she would do the normal mommy stuff to make me feel better! Love you Mom! Well it hurts when I swallow! I have gotten the cold going around and it is not fun normally but even more not fun when you are prego! I'm too afraid to take anything for it! I even called my friend Amy for advice on and went to buy it last night and the people at the pharmacy gave me a hard time, so even after buying it I didn't take it! I totally trust you Amy and my hubby was annoyed with me for not taking, but I just can't bring myself to do it! Plus, the meds are for sinus and nasal conjestion and that's not where my problem is, it's all in my throat area. So I am drinking orange juice/sprite drinks, pretending they are mimosas... LOL! Forcing myself to eat and trying to get all the phlem out of me! Which is making me gag and throw up! Good times! :) Also trying to keep myself busy reading so I don't think about it, I read "The Host" by Stephenie Myer yesterday... and it was awesome! Very different from the Twilight series and I loved it! I want her to do a sequal on that one! Thanks for letting me borrow Kati, sorry it took me so long to get to! I'm looking forward to the 4th book in the Twilight series to come out as I can see most of you are! I'm going to actually buy this one cause I don't think I can manage waiting to borrow to read it! Cannot wait!!! So since I got nothing else going on right now this is about it just hiding out and pretty much waiting for our first sonogram on Monday! YAY! I'll post on it that night hopefully, I need to buy a scanner still!

Got some news...

So guess what? We're finally pregnant! YAY!!!!!!!!! Yep, it's true - check out the positive test below...
I have never personally seen a positive test before, so exciting! I had to do a few more just to make sure! I have had a lot of negative tests, definitely a lot more fun when it is positive! We have backed them up when some actual doctor tests too, so we are officially with child and as happy as ever! It is still pretty early, only 5 weeks. I know this is really early to spread the news and I never thought we would be like this, but we just can't help it! We have been trying about 3 years now and we did in-vitro to help us and it worked! This is also something else I thought I wouldn't share, but you know what? We just don't care anymore! It has been a long, hard struggle and we are seeing a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel! We've decided that if we can help anyone out by sharing our trials (like others have done for us) than that is the least we can do! Plus, it is pretty interesting stuff! I won't share all the details here, but just wanted to let you all know that if your struggling with this too and needed someone to talk to... I'm here! It is amazing how many people actually struggle with this, I had no idea! Anyways, I know how it is and want to take this opportunity to thank those who have helped me along, you have really made life a little easier for me! :) So on to some more pics...
This is technically our very first baby picture! So cool and a little crazy! It is a picture of our best 6 embryos! We produced 15 all together (I actually produced 22 eggs! Each of my ovaries were bigger than my uterus! Crazy huh?! I was pretty uncomfortable...I know, I know - imagine being 9 months pregnant!), which is awesome because we hoped for 10-12!
Now hopefully I will not have to do surgery again later when we want to do it again! We only used 3 this time and we were able to cryogenically save the remaining 12 for later. We don't have anyone sonogram pics yet, another couple weeks for that. Cannot wait! We will find out then how many we have... we hope for twins! But would be more than happy with just one too! Now triplets would still be a blessing for sure, but I only have 2 hands, 2 boobs = you get the picture I'm sure! :) So we are hoping for twins! Take part in our survey and guess what you think we will have, get your votes in on the top right!

This is my 1 month along photo, I'm glad you really can't see anything yet! I can definitely feel a difference though! I had all the standard symptoms before we officially found out: heart burn, sore breasts with crazy veinage, peeing all the time - I'm up at least once a night, tired all the time, little nauseous at night and bloated! And I am loving all of it, maybe I'm crazy but it helps me know that everything is going good! No complaints from me, I will take it all! I actually had my first spew the other night at dinner with friends, dinner was so good too! After I was finished I was just sitting there relaxing and then I just knew it wasn't going to stay down! :) I lost it all! Luckily I got outside before it happened, good times! At least I know what my time is for now, 7:00pm - just crackers until the queeziness goes away and then I can grub! Frequent small meals are helping me a lot!

These are pics of the first little baby outfits we purchased, it was so fun! We are hoping for twins - boy and a girl so we got these for fun! If it doesn't work out exactly how we are hoping, we luckily have a lot of friends having babies too! Aren't they so cute?! Love it! My hubby wasn't as into this as I was, but he was a good sport about it! So fun buying baby clothes!

We had a lot of fun telling Seth's family last night, his grandma is down from Oregan and we were all together for dinner. I made a little onesie that said "I love my Grandma & Grandpa" and we had his mom open it, they were all really excited! This will be the 1st grandbaby on his side and we're excited to get it started! They can't wait and either can we, we know how much love will be given to our baby by them! As well as all the family on my side too, everyone is super happy and ready for us to bring on the babies! Thanks family for EVERYTHING you do for us and the tremendous amount of love you give us! Well that is about it for now! Thanks to all of you as well for your love and support with this, we have really felt it and really appreciate it! We will keep you updated with the progress! :)

Old Friends and Good Times!

This post has taken me forever to do! I wanted to scan in an old pic and it took me a lot longer than I expected, I need a scanner! Anyways, last month I was able to hang out with some friends I went to high school with and it was great being able to see them and their adorable kids! My girlfriend Kori was down from Utah and they were having a big birthday party for her niece Madison so my other girlfriend Natalie and I went to hang out! Well the Burnhams really know how to throw a good party! They had a bounce house and a huge blow up water slide pool thing and the best food! AND Snow Cones! I had like 4, so yummy! I have since gotten a snow cone maker by the way, just a tiny walmart one - but it is so good! :) We had a great time relaxing, watching the kids play and catching up! Here is a slide show of the day...

So I found an old pic of me, Kori and Natalie and thought I would share how cute we were!

But I still think we are pretty cute, 10 years later mind you! :) It was fun day, thanks for inviting us Kori!
