DISNEYLAND!!!

One reason I'm glad we live in Cali is because Disneyland is close by!!! So happy we got passes and were able to spend the first day there with Mitch's Grandma and Grandpa Bills and the rest of the family! Mitch was kind of a stinker the first part of the day, he kept turning his head away from his grandparents(little snot)! I guess he has learned how to be shy or just plain rude, either way kinda cute and funny... for now. Wish I would have gotten some good pics of it! We accidentally left our new camera in the car and didn't realise it until we got off the tram! Annoying! So Seth went back for it and by then Mitch had stopped doing it! So we got in line to get our tickets(to turn into passes)where I flashed everyone while trying to nurse my hysterical baby! He grabbed the hooter hider while trying to latch on and then I tried to cover myself with my arm while wrestling with him... few seconds later I looked and realised I was doing a REALLY BAD JOB of covering myself cause my NIPPLE was still on parade!!! So freaking embarrassing! Aww the joys of motherhood! We finally got into Disneyland though and had an awesome time with the family and flashed a few more times(you know for attention really, like the screaming baby isn't attention enough)! This day helped me realise a few things...

*Any ride that is dark (like Pirates of the Caribbean) makes Mitch think it is nap time and then he wants to nurse PRONTO!
*Holding Mitch towards the outside of the boat(like on Pirates of the Caribbean) so he can see everything isn't a good idea.. at least till after the 2 drops that completely soaked him!
*We need to hold his hands while on the ride if someone is seating right in front of us(like on Pirates of the Caribbean), cause Mitch likes to pull hair.
*Maybe Pirates of the Caribbean isn't the best ride for us!
*There is a nursing area that I will put to good use on our next trip, instead of flashing everyone AND their mom.
*Time flies at Disneyland and if my baby is really grumpy and crying maybe it's because I should have fed him 2 hours ago!! What a bad mom.

:) Yeah, good times. We made it through the day with Mitch napping pretty well in his stroller, going on some rides and being able to see the awesome fireworks show they have for Halloween! Looking forward to many more fun trips!!

Here are some pics from the day...

Right before entering the happiest place on earth!

Where to first Mitch?

Doesn't get cuter than this!! Thanks for bringing the hat Aunt Amber! Went perfect with his $6 Walmart outfit, just FYI Walmart has really cute and way less expensive disney clothes! Gotta love it!

Amazed by the Carasol!

The Birthday girl Autumn!! The reason the whole family went together!

Mitch and Grandpa Bills, I think they look alike!

Mitch and Grandma Bills

On the Dumbo ride, ready to fly!

Autumn and Grandma

Us and Dumbo

Mitch and the Sword and the Stone. Some lady walked by and commented on how unsanitary this was.. we are just building his immune system... GOSH! Oh well, I guess I could have foreseen this happening and wipied it.

Mitch sufficiently over stimulated and ready for a snooze!

Yeah baby!

Seth playing with that giant water ball, my dad was impressed about how fast he got it moving! :)

The whole fam ready for the firework show!

I so miss disneyland. I hate the whole nursing in public thing especially when I have to miss out on something like having fun. That's why I always did both bottles and nursing. Glad you guys had fun

Oh my gosh! I'm laughing so hard over the nipple flashing thing. Yeah, check out that mother's room. Babies just get to that stage where it's a little precarious to try and use the hooter hider. Oh boy!
