Mitch gets bigger and more active every day and although he can be pretty beastly at times(especially when he isn't getting his way) we love how fun this stage with him is! He is so curious about his body now, which is cute most of time.. not cute when he is trying to grab himself downstairs while his diaper is being changed and gets his hand in poop! YUCK! It is super cute when we ask him where his belly button is tho and he lifts up his shirt to show us! LOVE it! He is a walking fool, but still does the frankenstein straight legged arms up in the air thing! So funny! He is doing much better at catching himself when he falls now, when he does we say "uh oh!" and he thinks its funny. He loves playing with the trash cans now, throwing toys and other stuff in there and pulling nasty stuff out.. which we don't love! We've gotten to the point that they are up on the counter until we figure something else out! He mimics things we do a lot now, for example when we give him a water bottle, empty or not he will go put it in the recycling bag we keep on our pantry door! So cute!! He loves to watch movies in the car and not just Toy Story, he is into other ones now too! We took him to watch Toy Story 3 in the theatre and it was awesome, he LOVED it and did so good! He had his first case of pink eye this last month, which really sucked! Eye drops in a baby's eye 4 times a day for 7 days = NO FUN!! He was a trooper, but I recieved a few swift kicks to the chest during drop times! He is strong!! He is back into throwing some pretty good tantrums, which I had hoped we had left behind. No luck there tho and he likes to do them in public, which is extra awesome! At home I ignore him and walk away if I can, but in public how do you do that?! I've been managing not to beat him, but it is hard!! ;) He is a very sweet and serious most of the time with random bouts of rage and fits of laughter, my parents are happy to see me getting payback from my tantrums as a child! He officially now likes quesadilla, chicken strips and apples which gives a little more variety to some meals luckily. He is my life and although he challenges me a lot(especially at church), I'm so thankful for him and his sweet spirit! Here is all the pics and video from this last month...

He is so cute. His poor eye :( Your about to reach the best age. 18 mnths to 2 1/2 are so fun. We keep a journal of the funny things the kids say. they are so fun to read back again. Just an idea for when he starts talking.
yeah, that is about the age with Brendan that we had to move from a big trash can next to the counter to an itty bitty one under the sink (I'd rather have to empty it every day than pick up all the contents off the floor multiple times a day....). Good times :>) He is too cute!

Every month you do this type of post and every month I think CRAP he is that old!!! I mean your his Mom so you probably feel the same way : )!! He is too cute!! I love that he loves the water!!!

He is so dang cute and getting so big! It is so fun that he is now able to do so many more things. I look forward to all the fun stuff with Brooke BUT NOT THE TANTRUMS!!!! Her high pitched SHREAK is NOT FUN but what can you do right? It's all part of the game :)
