My Testimony

I have a testimony of my gospel and I've shared bits and pieces here and there, but I just feel it building more and more with things I've been experiencing these last few months and I need to let it out!!! My faith is strong and I have been so blessed by it through the trials we've been given. I can now say that I am so thankful for them, specifically our trial of not having kids easily. I know we are much better parents because of it and marriage is stronger for it! Although it really stinks at times, I know we are so blessed to have Mitch and I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us and our family. We are faithful and I know we will be blessed for it! I have felt the spirit so strong in situations that help me know that our Heavenly Father loves me and knows what I need. It gives me tremendous hope!!! When I pray, sing, fast and take the Sacrament now it is so much more meaningful to me because of it. I feel my Savior's love through my wonderful husband, my loving family, my fantastic friends, in the beauty of the the earth and the sweet and stubborn spirit of my son. It envelopes me daily and I'm a very blessed person because of it!!! I can't imagine life without my testimony and faith, I would be a sad person. But I'm not, that's how I know the LDS church is true! Through things that could have wrecked me emotionally I've stood up with my faith and gotten through it and pushed on to the next. I'm a better person, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend because of it and I thank God for it! Life is almost easy now and so much more enjoyable! I am happy and at peace in it and it is glorious!

Girls Trip to Vegas!!!!!!

I forgot about posting this!!!! Back in February we went on a girls trip to Vegas for my birthday and just for some good fun!! It was so great and something I really needed at the time and will probably need at least once a year in the future! ;) It soothed my aching heart and helped me get through a rough time, I'm lucky to have such great girlfriends to help me feel better!!! I was sad all of them couldn't come, but made due with some of my favorites that did!! We had a fantistic time eating, sleeping, playing, winning(I played a twenty on random roulette tables a few times and doubled it every time! Yeah baby!), then shopping and almost cuddling... I'm not a cuddler Erin, can't blame her for trying tho!! LOL! We definitely do not need to drink to have fun!! So here are the long awaited photos from our fun getaway...

My wonderful husband was sick the whole time I was gone and didn't complain at all that he was at home watching Mitch with no one to take care of him, I had actually said I was so glad I was gone because he a can be a big baby when he is sick! I felt so bad once I started getting sick the last night there!! IT WAS AWFUL, we had to stop for me like 5 times on the drive home!! :/ He had it much longer than I did and took good care of me when I got home too!! Made me feel like a bitch, he is AMAZING!!

Playgroup Trip to Dejong's Dairy

We did our annual trip to Dejong's Dairy with Playgroup and we had a blast! I love how into it Mitch was this year! Although he threw dirt in his own eyes when we first got there...?? Not quite sure what he was thinking and in all the pics it looks like he was crying, but he wasn't. His poor eyes were irritated! Luckily it didn't stop him from having fun! Here are the pics...

Hey there cows

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Watching a calf being fed a bottle, so cute!

Mitch loved it!

Feeding the calfs some hay!

They were demonstrating how the cows are milked with these... Mitch you have nipples... LOL!

Our huge group and that shows only half of what was there!!

All the kids learning how they package the milk!

The kids enjoying cookies and the best chocolate milk EVER after the tour. I love the stink face Reese is giving her brother here! LOL!

Any animal hungry over here????

Happy Easter!!!

We are so grateful for our Savior and for his sacrifice for us! We are excited to teach Mitch and future children all about it and see them understand and their faith to grow in it! We have gone through a lot this last year and without the knowledge of his plan for us, I think we would be lost and really depressed! Thankfully we are not and we have so much faith and hope in what is to come for us! Easter is so much more to us because of that!! So HAPPY EASTER!!! We did a ton of stuff leading up to Easter this year, so fun since Mitch is older and he is into it all now! So get ready for a ton of photos!!! Here ya go...

We went to an Easter event at the local shopping outlet and they had the scariest Easter Bunny, seriously it was bad! So we avoided that and instead checked out the awesome petting zoo they had going on!

Contracting the bird flu

Getting licked by the pony! ;)

LOL!

Sweet boy

Mitch and the less scary Easter Bunny at the Temecula mall! LOL!

At the Primary Easter Activity! My friend Janitsy did an amEGGsing job putting it together!!

Finding eggs, he got mad cause I was showing him what to do by putting one of the eggs in his basket, so he pulled it out and threw it! Little stinker finally realized that there is candy in there and got with the program! LOL!

Watching the "Bunny Sack Races"! Mitch eventually lost his mind at the end so we left soon after the egg hunt! He can be a booger sometimes, luckily he isn't all the time! ;)

After his nap that day I took him to this field close by to take some cute Easter photos of him!

We went up to the family cabin for Easter festivities with the Bills family, Seth's parents were out of town so we are celebrating with them later.

Hunting for eggs!

Cousin Kayla and Mitch after their own little Easter Egg Hunt! So cute!

On Easter morning before church, we went and got Mitch up and he found his basket and the first Easter egg the Easter bunny left him! The eggs led him all the way downstairs to his big Easter basket...

Finding the big basket!!

He was having a hard time lifting the big one... maybe he was a tad spoiled!

I made Mitch this dinosaur for his Easter basket, I think he likes it! Makes me SO HAPPY!!

We colored eggs before bed on Easter day with Mitch. We got a cool spinner thing that made it so much easier and way less mess! Yay! He loved it!

He was being so good and patient! :)
