So lately it has come to my attention that I say "SORRY" entirely too much!! I say it when I truly am sorry, when I feel bad about someone's situation, when I think I am putting someone out, when someone stubs their toe, when someone cannot find something... for practically anything, I say "sorry". What is wrong with me? Although I think it is good to be so easy to apologize if I am wrong, I am not wrong about everything and I don't quite know how I became so SORRY! I remember when I first had Mitch and Seth was helping me at home with him and I would ask him to grab me something and then say sorry quickly! I think it developed from there.. I am a do it myself kind of girl and now that I really can't do everything myself I think it is hard for me to let others do it and I feel bad and then comes a big fat SORRY! UGH!! Annoying! Anyways, I am really trying to change "Sorry" into "Thank You" for the situations that call for it... but I'm having a hard time with situations other than that! So feel free to give me some advice or wish me luck on my sorry free quest!
Holidays are so much more fun now that we have Mitch!! As you well know I LOVE dressing him up, so Halloween is extra fun!! ;) We have had a great time taking him to Disneyland quite a few times, pumpkin patching and showing him off in his CUTE costume! We took so many pics these last few weeks it was so hard to choose what to post so I made a slide show of all the cuteness! Enjoy...
Mitch was a Lion for Halloween and we decided to teach him to growl and have had a fun time doing it! He picked it up pretty quickly, but has to be in the right mood to display it! A whole bunch of people got quite the show while we were waiting to get pics with mickie and minnie! Here is video of him doing it(I wish he was in his costume and that the video is turned, oh well!) I was surprised he was so forthcoming with the growls here because he was tired, I think he knew it would get him to bed faster! ;)
I have a tradition of making Holiday cookie with some friends, we always do for Halloween and Christmas! So we got together this time at my place and had a good time! It was a little more interesting with the kiddos, but still fun and YUMMY!! Laura, Meagan and Janitsy frosting some cookies! Yay cookies!!! More frosting! YUM! This pic is so cute Jalen is giving Madisyn an innocent poke and she obviously didn't like it, which in turn makes her over protective boyfriend Mitch a little upset too! LOL! Mitch telling Madisyn, "it's ok baby" ;) All of them looking at the camera finally! This is what they did while we made cookies! Mitch trying to plant one on Madisyn! So cute!
THIS POST IS FOR ADULT EYES ONLY!!!
Sorry if you are offended, but we think it is pretty dang funny!
Yay for parties where Seth and I get to make fools of ourselves!! ;) We can't get enough of them! We always get super excited for Halloween especially, we love thinking and planning up different and funny costumes! Last year Seth was Dora the Explorer and I was his sidekick Boots! I was prego last year and all year we planned on Seth being Dr.Evil(from Austin Powers) and Mitch being Mini-Me in a front pack this year... that was until Seth starting growing this....
SEXY... I know(but it does not help the Dr.Evil costumes idea!). He is growing it for "Stash-tober" a Mustache growing contest for Orange County Firemen that will benefit CHOC, so it's for a good cause.. just looks pretty dirty! LOVE YOU BABY! Anyways.. so we decided to come up with another costume that would fit the mustache and I had a epiphany!! He could be the @#*$ in a box guy from the Saturday Night Live Skit with Justin Timberlake and Andy Samborg and I could be his skank! Perfect!!! Little racy we know, but it was an ADULT party and "If doing it is wrong we don't wanna be right"! LOL, FYI that line is from the sequel to this skit, that JT won an Emmy for and that means it's classy.. right? Yeah I know, not really. Oh well, it was a hit!! I'm big on shock value! So to set this up just in case you have not seen this skit I am talking about, check it out...
:) Yeah I know you are curious! Here we are..
I think we did a pretty good job! ;)
Seth working his box!
Me and my gift!
So yeah, we were a tad over the top! And to TOP that all off we decided to have a TREAT in the box, since Seth obviously wasn't going to actually put his junk in the box! We do have a line.. it might be a little further out than most others lines, but we do have one! So I found a fun recipe on www.bakerella.com for cake pops and I made cake pop penises to give out! Yep! You read that right, CAKE POP PENISES. They turned out great, almost a tad too realistic for some! Again, sorry if you are offended... BUT I warned you! Here is how they turned out...
Yellow cake with chocolate frosting, with a vanilla candy coating! Delicious!! Just ask Todd...
LOL!!!
I packaged up all cute, so they would be slightly less offensive... did it work?
I made a TON!! :) Seth had a great time having people reach inside his box to pull out their treat! He is such a ham! LOVE IT!
It was a really fun party, thanks for hosting Matt and Kyra! I was in charge of games and I'm glad everyone had fun participating in "Rip their face off"(that one was FUN!!! Thanks Ellen, I saw it on the Ellen show! Everyone decorates their brown bag with a face and puts it over their head and they also wear oven mitts and then try to get everyone else's bags off before their own is ripped off! Last one with the bag on their head wins!), Egg swinging/cracking mess(that was kind of a bust! HA!) and Egg relay race! Here are the rest of the pics from the party, so many of them I had to make a slideshow...
