Happy Easter!

This is Mitch in his Easter outfit Mommy made him and the bunny ears, wasn't too happy about the ears obviously! Still pretty cute though! :)

We had a fun Easter Sunday with some driving in between! We went to church at 8:30am which is normally way too early, but works out really well for days like these when we need to fit in two family get togethers! After church we drove out to Huntington Beach to Ethan's(Seth's brother) place and brunch at the park, he made the best omelettes for everyone and we grubbed pretty good! We played Boche ball and everyone took turns holding Mitchell, they did a good job not fighting over him! LOL! It was cute how they would ask each other questions like "Aren't you hungry?", which is code for "hand over the baby!" LOVE IT! I got a few pics, but I wish I had gotten more! I just realized that we did a lot more video than photos, we need to learn how to do both equally I guess!

Granma Andres and Mitch

After that we drove back to our area to my sister Erin's place for Easter with my side of the Family. We had dinner and did an Easter Egg hunt, so adorable watching our little nephew find the eggs! He was so into it! We then got photos of all the grandchildren together, quite the feat with 5 of them now! And it's only going to get crazier! These are my best ones...

All 5 Grandkids! We probably should have done the pics before the egg hunt so we could have bribed them to sit still and look at the camera AND they wouldn't have already been on a sugar high! :) At least we got the photo though!

Great Grandma & Grandpa McArthur and the kids

Mitch without the ears and looking just ADORABLE! I just realized that we didn't get a photo of him with Seth and I! :( We have to get better at this!!

Mitch was held the whole time at this get together as well, everyone was really good at sharing him here too! I'm glad he is so loved already!

Mitch and Grandma Bills

Mitch and Auntie Amber, she's getting her baby fix! :) By the way it only made me want a baby more when I held other people's babies! So good luck with that, especially cause Mitchell is so cute!! :)

Great Grandma McArthur and Mitchell

Great Grandpa McArthur and Mitchell, I'm so glad I got this photo! It was so cute watching him hold him, he started to get fussy(the baby) and Grandpa was looking around for help! LOL!

Mitchell was so spoiled being held ALL DAY, he's already so fussy today cause he isn't being held every second! Mommy needs a shower son! Anyways, our Easter was great, especially being able to go to church and celebrating the true meaning of it! Christ has done so much for us and I'm thankful for his Sacrafice for my sins! Love you all and hope you had a good Easter as well!

Not the best night...

So last night was a first for me... my first bout of what we think was food poisoning! NOT FUN AT ALL!! I will not go into details, cause I'm sure anyone who has had this knows of the hellfire I'm speaking of and does not need it spelled out!! If you are not quite sure what I am speaking of, count yourself lucky!! I wouldn't wish it on anyone! That combined with poor little Mitchell being super congested meant very little sleep for Mommy and Daddy! Seth was supposed to work today, but at about 3:30 AM this morning I begged him to stay home! I was so weak and I thought I had already lost all the fluids I possibly could at that point, but I was wrong!! So Nasty! Seth willingly agreed he should stay home since he was so tired too and witnessed the ugliness and knew there was know way I would be functioning enough to care for Mitch or myself! Seth is really awesome with stuff like this and I promised him that hopefully one day in the near future I hopefully won't be as disgusting as I have been since giving birth! I don't know how men think their wives are sexy after witnessing what they do! We were getting worried that I wouldn't have anything to breastfeed Mitchell from being so dehydrated, but luckily the boobs managed! We think Mitch's problem is just allergies with the weather we've been having and allergens everywhere, he thankfully hasn't had a fever or snot spewing out of him! It's more in his little sinus area. Listening to the poor little guy breathe is so sad, we purchased a humidifier and it seems to be helping luckily! So thankfully the worst has passed, still recovering though and hopefully will be functioning again soon! Hope your night was way better! :)

Me time!

Inspired by my friend Melissa's blog I decided to post on my recent me time! I know it seems like this has become Mitchell's blog as of late, so thought I would take it back for a post! :)

A week and a half ago I had the pleasure of going to dinner with a bunch of girlfriends to the Melting Pot! So yummy! They have a promotion called "Girl's Night" a couple times a month where you can do a salad, cheese fondue and chocolate fondue for $22! This place is very pricey normally, so that is a great deal! I left Mitch home with Daddy and had a fun time with the girls! Here are some pics..

Also, I never had a chance to post on my Birthday present from Seth! So exciting! Ever since we moved here we haven't really celebrated birthdays and holidays with big presents, but Seth thought I deserved this for my 30th...

A KitchenAide!!! Yay! I have to say I agree with Seth, I think I deserve it too! Thanks Baby!

This is me making my most recent favorite thing to eat - COOKIES!!! I craved the cookie dough during pregnancy and now I'm all about the cookies! YUM! Mitch started getting fussy while I was making, so as you can barely see in this pic he is attached to Mommy via the sling! Love that thing!!

This is a pic of me and Meagan's KitchenAide - I got a little crazy with it as you can see while making Valentine's cookies! Mine luckily came with a shield thing so hopefully this won't happen with mine! LOL! Those things are powerful!!

Because "Me Time" has become increasingly hard to have as of late, I have to say a big thank you to my wonderful husband who really steps up and knows when I need it! He gets home from work in the morning and takes Mitch so I can sleep! He changes every diaper that he can and makes it so I can be a great mom to our little guy and really enjoy doing it! I can't imagine doing this without him, I would be a mess! So here is to me time! I challenge all of you to post about your recent "You Time"

Professional Newborn Shots Of Mitchell!

On Mitch's 6th day on this earth we had a photo shoot of him with Erinn Austin, the photographer who did out maternity photos! She is so awesome and I loved how they turned out, especially cause Mitch was giving her a hard time! The plan was for him to be sleeping and he wrestled with that idea the whole time... guess who was sound asleep the second she walked out the door though? Yep, little exhausted Mitchell! Oh well, she definitely still made it work! Check it out...

I love how he is throwing signs in this one! LOL! We just love all of them! They just catch his little personality! You can get to Erinn's website here she is so talented and so fun and easy going during the shoots! We totally recommend her and can't wait for the next shoot of our little guy!

We got the cd of pics from our maternity shoot awhile ago and I've been meaning to post a few extra of my favorites from so here they are...

She is so amazing and we will cherish all of these! Thanks Erinn!
