Hiking...my favorite...NOT!

On Saturday I went hiking with Seth and his parents...it was... an experience. I was not made for hiking. I don't know why, but bugs just love me and no one else! It's like my scent(hair product/spf 50 for my pasty white skin) is sweet ecstasy to them. They commit suicide by literally flying into my head! Arghhh! Anyways we were hiking to find Tenaja Falls, did we find it? Nope! That's how we roll, walk around aimlessly in hopes of finding some waterfall! So after slipping (I'm so graceful) and eating it into some rocks, which sliced my hand and bruised my shin pretty badly, I was done. After 3 hours we realized we went the wrong way so we gave up finding this waterfall. We found a road and followed that back to our car, I speed walked to every next patch of shade I could find on the way back! I hadn't realized how long I had been out in the sun, luckily I escaped from being scorched! My poor husband knew what he was getting into by marrying me, I was upfront about my dislike of outdoorsyness! Yet he still trys to make it seem fun and hopes I will change my mind. This trip was not the one to make that change, just fyi so good luck Seth! :) So as you can see my in-laws are pretty good sports having me along, I'm sure next time they'll be happy to leave me at home! All in all a pretty good trip! LOL! Here is the slide of our escapade...

Girls Night Out "ooh OOH!"

We went out for girls night last friday it was kind of a undercover good bye night for our dear friend Janitsy, she is moving. :( We will still see and keep in contact with her, but it will be just a little harder now! So we couldn't let her leave without getting together! We went and saw "Baby Mama" really funny movie, maybe just cause the premise is close to my current life - it makes it easier when you can laugh at it! I've also always been a big fan of Saturday Night Live so any movie with Tina Fey and Amy Pohler, I'm there! Then we to the fine dining establishment of Denny's! LOL! Most of us grubbed on breakfast items and had a great time gabbing, everyone needs a girls night out! :) Here is a picture of all of us...

My little Tate is 1 today!

I can't believe how big my little nephew Tate has gotten! He is such a lover, you can always get some good cuddling from him! I just love him to pieces! He has my demanding attitude and his parents are known for calling him "Hate" (Heather + Tate) when he is being a little beast! I have thrown some good ol tantrums in my day and it looks like Tate might give me a run for my money! Gotta love it! I love you Taters!
